Too dominate, reminded me too much of Roseanne.

Miss Piggy is perhaps the most overrated Muppet. I just never really cared for her. Muppets shouldn't be so brutal. And why does Kermit put up with her? Kermit should dump her bacon butt and go out with Janice instead.

Miss Piggy deserves 5 stars. She may not have been the most likeable character, but that was the point, she didn't need to be liked, she just wanted to be admired, the center of attention, the obnoxious, over-the-top queen of the Muppets. More times than not, she achieved her goal. She was a Diva before we even used the word Diva. And you have to admire her undying love for Kermit. She is the Queen.

Sure, she's something of a bully, but she really gave TMS its kick. I bet, if we did a study of Muppet Shows, most of the really interesting plot lines were triggered by Piggy behavior. She was kind of like Madonna and Roseanne all wrapped up in one -- desperate for the limelight, not afraid to be the butt of the joke, never afraid to be herself 100% of the time.

I never understood what Kermit saw in Miss Piggy. First of all, she's obviously high maintenance. She needs a lot of attention, and she's always stressed out about something. Sure, if opposites really do attract then it makes sense, but don't you think Kermit would have preferred someone just a little less needy? I think she kind of took advantage of that poor little frog's good nature.

The perfect balance for the mellow Kermit. Miss Piggy brought a nervous, adrenaline-charged energy to the show which at times rejuvenated the rest of the cast, and at times wreaked havoc. Through it all, one never questioned her enduring, cosmic love for Kermit - and that is something we should all admire.
