If you watch and listen carefully she says to give God your first fruits at the same time flashing her number to donate to God. (Her ministry). She is brainwashing people to think the bible is saying to give Her your first fruits. We are to give our first fruits to the needy and our churchs. Paula wants all of our first fruits. She is taking advantage of the eager christians seeking Gods favor. she also makes it like magic, by giving her your first fruits God will definately bless you financiallly. God is not our puppet or our finanical investment to make money. We are to give without expecting back. To give faithful to God and those in need. Paula need to pray with her leadership staff and ask God for forgiveness and to publicly clear up this purposely misrepresentation of Gods holy word.

I believe that raising money for God kingdom is helpful because it helps bring Christian programming into the homes of people who desire to watch it. Secular programming is funded by advertisers. The body of Christ supports the Christian programming, as it supports it's pastors in tithes and offerings at church.

The only reason I give her a 3 for ok is that she preaches the Bible and cares about souls. I saw her on TBN the other night and she rambled and shouted for several hours. I couldn't believe she never stopped so I finally turned it off.

I personally like her teaching I own several of her messages. I dont agree with all the selling she does but. Hey if this is her job then she gets paid by how much she sells If it was your means to make money then you would push the product as well. Pastor Paula is great !. I watch the "Paula White Today" program whenever I can. You can tell Paula has a heart for true restoration in people's lives. She gives you the best information, and tools that really help. She is such a light in a dark world. Her testimony is such an inspiration for me and many dealing with hardships. I met Paula White last week in a private setting. She is very humble and kind. She is a woman who's Dad committed suicide when she was 5 and was sexually molested from the ages of 6-13. She was broken and hopeless until she met our blessed Saviour. She is one that our Lord has raised up and is using to help people around the world. The anointing of God is upon her please keep your sly remarks to yourself.

By the way - I think that Paula and Oprah should team up as it seems they think that their great wealth is a sign that they are divinely favored and special. I have no objection to wealth, but I do object when it is flaunted with pious arrogance from a very shaky, and uncertain pedestal. After reading the responses on this site, one question comes to mind; Could someone please describe the 'perfect preacher' for me? The men and women listed here seem to draw criticism for anything and everything; Ministry is too big, they talk too loud, they weigh too much, they have a funny name, etc, etc. Shoot, if these detractors saw Jesus himself preaching they would still manage to be critical! "He must be 'fleecing his flock'! I mean, did you get a whiff of him? All those expensive spices and oils..." or "The son of a carpenter? How hokey is that?" Maybe "Where did he get the moeny to pay for all that bread and fish?" "He RODE into town while others walked, who does he think he is?". I think you get the picture. Personally, I agree with the "Love one another" crowd. What bad can come from having true love for one another? Is it so terrible that there are people out there that have led others to accepting Jesus Christ? The bible is such an intricate and detailed work that even after 2,000+ years man is still gleaning information and gaining understanding from it. For the people that say that women shouldn't be allowed to preach. The only person that said that in the bible was paul and while I respect him I dsiagree. There are things in the bible where the holy spirit led them to say that or it was a direct word from God and other things their own opinions and in that context, you could see that was his own opinion. He also said that Godly women should not wear braids and should not be allowed to even speak in church and that if we have a question we have to wait til we get home to ask our husbands. So if you agree that women shouldn't preached based on what he said then also husbands make sure your wives never braid their hair or say one word in church! and I love Paula White. I personally love Paula White. Everybody is saying she has a love of money and blah blah blah. Why? Because she talks about finances? Aren't finances a problem for a majority of people? She say's you should tithe before all else. I've never heard her say 'give your money to me'. On the contrary, I was watching her program yesterday and she was telling viewers to tithe to their church and not necessarily to her ministry. And when she talks about wealth, it is not just money she is talking about. It's happiness, health, family etc. As far as her looks go, she is a beautiful woman and there is nothing wrong with that! Who says you have to look dull and drab to teach the word of God? There are few tv evangelists that I will watch (benny hinn for example). But, I think Paula White is genuine and realistic. She's a great inspiration and hope she stays on air for as long as possible.

I will say this, Paula does know scripture, albeit in repetition. She does needs to learn how to use biblical hermeneutics to rightly divide it. She gets on her spouting scripture 'riffs' and uses scripture that doesn't apply to or necessarily support her message. And convicting people to send in their first fruit to her show and not their local church is totally unbiblical!!
