hes cute but hes sort of a pervert

Animal rocks the house with his groovy underbite and big grin. Besides, everyone knows that drummers really know how to bang :)

animal is the sweetest muppet. he's funny and soo wild. he kinda reminds me of myself. i mean he eats all kinds of stuff (so do I). he's very hyper and active, so am I. we both have way to much energy and we both are great fun. i can't imagine someone hating animal.

animal is the coolest.....i even have an animal back-pack!!! everybody loves it (except for the few, misguided people that don't know who he is!)

I think to truly appreciate Animal, you have to consider him from a psychoanalytic viewpoint. He's pure Id - completely driven by primal needs and uninhibited by social convention. He wants food, women, and loud music, and he wants it all immediately. The purity of his desires gives him a strength unknown by buttoned-down, 9 to 5 men like most of us. If Barbra Streisand were to watch Animal perform, who among us can doubt that she would find him even more "in the moment" than Andre Agassi?

There was something nihilistic about Animal that disturbed me even at an early age. I know that this was the point -- to be the Johnny Rotten of the Muppets. But at least the Sex Pistols had some great songs... Animal was all cacaphony. And actually, Johnny Rotten had more funny lines than Animal too. I think I'd consider Animal the most over-rated Muppet.

Animal is in the top 5 of my all-time animated, puppet or 'fictional' television personalities. The vigor....the flare....the monobrow... He gave everything his all, what a great way to live life. He left everything up on the stage behind his drum kit whenever he was playing it, he would give 180% to anything that he was doing or pour himslef complete into any emotuional situation that came his way. His passion for life is a great lesson to all viewers, young and old, of the show. He was the heart that pumped the blood through the entire Muppets cast. I cannot imagine that there is anybody out there that watched the Muppets Show who does not love Animal.
