Kermit has always had charm and congeniality. He knows when to be serious and especially knows when to keep Miss Piggy in place when her hormones start raging. If Kermit was the classic leading man, he would be Jimmy Stewart.

I think just about everyone on this planet knows who Kermit is - and didn't you just love it when he did a duet with Kylie Minogue with 'Especially For You'? He really did keep the muppets together and the relationship between him and Miss Piggy was something to treasure. Why on earth don't they repeat the show? I miss it.

KERMIT RULES!! He was my first crush- give me a break, I was 4 years old. Kermit was my world- I loved "The Muppet Movie" and his wonderful songs, and his die-hard positive attitude. Kermit was and still is the ultimate friend and companion, even if he keeps holding off Miss Piggy's futile advances. Kermit is my fav. of the muppets because he reminds me of all the wonderful afternoons I spent with my son. I still have my sons Kermit the Frog doll in my closet and I get a warm feeling just looking at him.

It's everyone's favorite frog. He seems to be the straight man in a world of lunacy, and considering how crazy it often gets, he keeps his cool reasonably well. If only more people were like Kermit....

I enjoyed his early career on S.S. as a news reporter, but I never thought he could carry a variety show. I mean, when you look upon KtF's music career, the great "It's not Easy Being Green" turns out to be like a fluke. "Inchworm" was more typical of his maudlin pap. His comic timing was so-so, and it seemed that, as the director of The Muppet Show, he never got the best out of what was truly a strong cast.

Whoa, what a mellow frog. Kermit was really the prototype of the sensitive 80s man, much like Alan Alda's character on MASH. Lots of similarities between those two guys. But unlike Hawkeye, Kermit had an edge, a dark side. You could only push Kermit so far, then you'd cross a line and all bets were off. The few times Kermit got angry, it was like a lime green Hell had been unleashed upon the earth. Thank God for the calming influence of Miss Piggy, who probably helped bring him back down after those episodes. But 99% of the time Kermit was perfectly easy-going, full of optimism and wisdom, and always happy to strike up a happy tune on his banjo. We should all have a friend like that.

The classic Muppet. The ring leader, the guy that they all look up to for guidance and decision-making. He is a Renaissance frog in that he can fly spaceships, play the banjo, ride a 10-speed bicycle, be a TV reporter and so much more.... I have a sweater that is Kermit-colored green and there is something empowering that happens to me wheneber I wear it. He always got the ladies - all the way from the Pig to the beatiful women that were the Guest Star hosts of teh Muppet Show.
