I chew Redman Silver Blend, I have noticed that from time to time (More than not) the tobacco I buy isn't as good as it used to be. I am 52 years old and have been chewing RedMan all my life and now alot of times when I buy a pack of tobacco it is dry, brown in color, and has alot of stems in it. Compared to it should be almost black and moist with very few stems. I know when the guy comes around from RedMan giving out free samples that's when you get the best product, the leaves have been coated with the flavor that makes them black and almost sticky and not having hardly any stems. I am getting tired of buying dried out tobacco with NO flavor and I know that the Pinkerton Company can do better.

At a time when prices are over $3.00 a pack, that isn't the time to be cutting back on quality if you want to keep me as a customer. And I know there are others here that have to feel the same way. I rest my case.

i love red man, it doesn't make me sick, and i like to switch it up between skoal and red man/levi. in dip, i don't dip anything but skoal, and i buy red man more than levi in long leaf. i like the flavor of red man better than levi. and it lasts longer in my opinion. it's so amazingly good. and it's a better value than dip because you get double in the pouch. unless you take huge dips of it, it lasts between 2-3 days for me. and i like to take BIG dips. also, it's awesome because it's resealable. =]

redman chew (the original stuff in the pouch) is pretty good. it was actually the first chew i ever tried and probably like most people, it made me completely sick lol. but now that i've gotten used to the nicotene, it's pretty good stuff. very sweet like raisens and apples with a good woody tobacco flavor. it really makes me want to try more long leaf brands. but this review is more about redman straight (in the can). most "straight" flavors just taste like a watered-down wintergreen but this actually has some complex flavor going on. lots of lemon with some vanilla, honey, and mint in the background. a very fresh taste that doesnt taste chemically at all. i havent been able to find this stuff anywhere but i was able to try some through a friend of mine. i've heard it's cheap though. definitely worth trying if you havent yet.

Levi is WAY better

nuttin better than puttin in some long leaf redman, i love this stuff i will never anything different the only other stuff i like is levi but redman i always look forward to some.

Red man is a quality dip at a cheap price! Red man wintergreen in a can was good. The original redman in the pouch is soooo good, it tastes like honey! I never really liked leaf chew but now I love Red man! The only downside is that it doesnt give as much of a kick as actual dip (long cut)

well it depends on if it;s the cans or the bags. the cans well i enjoy straight, but it's a lil bit sweeter then grizz. but it's a smooth dip the smell won't knock you out.

red man is the best type of chew i love it and hope more people get into it try red man golden blend it is very sweet and good for beginners also give red man original a try i like it also and thats why i give it a 5 star rating!!!

busty- like gnawin' on a brown sock- better off suckin' popsicle sticks- Beechnut makes Redman weep and moan like a little girl- owned by a Swedish Co.- not worth the price of admission- might make good garden mulch- keep the bugs and slugs away unless they want to scat in it- butt bad ugly

Redman is one of my favorite chews. its my 2nd choice, if i cant find levi garrett then ill get redman

i just bought acan of redman fine cut natural it is a ok chew but not strong enough i will never buy it again i think i will stick whith my copenhagen snuff

i find that Redman has a very strong taste of raisins. but at the same time it has a great tobacco tastse - not to salty. i also find that Redman isnt strong enough but then again i have only tried the original. overall it is a great chew. i like skoal over all other chews though!

a classic my great grandad chewed it i chew it AMERCAS BEST CHEW ( plug is my fave)

use to be the best,now it is average and down near the bottom of the barrel in quality and taste..

red man straight in the can is great but is still new so it is a little hard to find. if i can find red man straight i get grizzly straight. they are both excellent choices and at a better price.

I have recently bought some RedMan in can snuff. This stuff is great as good as Skoal and the fine cut natural my friend says very comparable to Copenhagen.Plus at a great price.Finally a cheaper snuff that does not taste cheap.

has a nice juicy flavor to it. I can have a wad of it in my mouth for like 3 hours and it still puts out good flavor.

Has anyone tried Red Man in a can Natural?...I was just wondering if it was good. I've tried both wintergreen and straight their "okay" i just dont like them as much as Grizzly...Grizz is the shit.

I have been hooked on skoal wintergreen for about two years now. i started when i was 17 and i started to get curious about chewing tabacco. i read this review today while at school and decided i would go get some red man golden blend. not sure what to expect i would have to say its not like i thought it would be. i am pleased with it but it will still take second to skoal. and its a little cheaper

hey just bought a couple cans of the redman fine cut natural snuff the first thing I like is the price. its very afforable.2nd can is very strong and looks nice too.3 taste the snuff has a flavor that is very close to copenhagen, at one fourth the cost,with a hint of a red seal flavor which I like plus its got a sweet taste to it I belive .it really surpised me!If you want a good rub of snuff at a good price you cant go wrong with redman!!

the best of chew... this and levi garret. redman has a very sweet taste it reminds me of raisins. silver blend isn't that great its kinda shitty and golden blend is delic.

IMO Redman Golden Blend is the best tasting chew. Unfortunately, it has so much nicotine, that it gives me a headache so I can't chew it. (Don't call me a wuss) I prefer Morgans as the next best, but you do give up some in flavor.

If I had to chew I might choose this one.

Back in my chewing days, I used a lot of Redman when I was deer hunting. I don't know why leaf and hunting work better than the can variety and hunting, but it does.

i honestly thought that redman, as hardcore as people said it wasn't that great. ive dipped it 5 times and i haven't buzzed at all. i dont know if im doing something wrong but i honestly dont think that redman is all that great

im not a huge fan of chaw id rather pinch, and im not of a great voice in this because redman is the only chaw iv tried but i will tell you that gold beats the bag off plain, and i think that both taste like rasins

Redman rocks it has full flavor that you expect to get from your tobacco, dip puts flavors and chemicals but redman chew gives you the fix you need to get through the day. Beech nut is alright but if you need some quality tobacco redman rocks.

i'd stick with chew as opposed to snuff. chew tastes better, but it does not deliver the same buzz. If you're going for taste, then grab some red man chew. If you're going for buzz, then try copenhagen. Copenhagen tastes like crap, but if you're an addict, then that's your poison.

yeah redman is def. a damn good chew...i chew cope but i can never turn down a good redman chew.

Red Man Golden Blend tastes great when I'm drinking a can of Diet Coke. It tastes great when I'm not drinking it. And I can't think of anything more delicious than a juicy wad of Golden Blend after a meal. I've tried others but have always come back to the Golden Blend.

Good chew second only to Levi.

In regard to this and all others (I just picked this one because my grandfather used it) - why not just get a bag of glass shards and chew those? It would be quicker and possibly less painful in the long run.

I like redman once in a while and it is moist and has a good flavor but it breaks up after a while and then u have little chunks every where in your mouth.

Best flavor by far, alot more sweet then Beech, but some might not like the potent sweetness. The leaves are so soft and moist, only thign bad is you can naw on it as much as Beech, but the flavor and the less stems is way better. CHEW REMAN GOLD

RedMan Golden Blend is the best tasting leaf I have had yet, bar none.

The leaf however is really lacking, in that it pretty much falls apart if you chew it even at all, and you end up with little bits & pieces.

Great taste is only half the appeal of leaf chew.

I quit dipping a few months ago, but I compensate somewhat by chewing through a bag of Redman during my weekends. I've always enjoyed Redman Golden Blend, but today they were out at the store... so I picked up a pouch of Silver Blend. I was blown away! The flavor is a lot smoother than Golden Blend- the use of natural sweetners instead of sugar is a stroke of genius. The flavor seems to last longer than Golden Blend, and the lack of sugar means the taste more natural and earthy. I have tried a lot of different chews, I can think of none better than a fresh pouch of Red Man Silver Blend. -Matt, Polk County, FL

i chew red man select i chewed red man golden for a long time untill i tryed red man select i liked it alot better . all of red man chew is good but i perfer select i tryed other chews out there lots of them .i always came back to red man . very good chew i chew it everyday.

Redman is the real deal ive been chewing for 5 years and Redman along with Grizzly is the best. It isnt over priced and has the best cuts avaliable. Many other chews like Levi Garret, Chatanooga, Mail Pouch, and Work Horse tend to have a bitter taste and a less moist leaf. They also have a problem with stems or the hard pieces that ruin your moment. IF you want the sweetest, most moist and best chew you will choose REDMAN. Why not chew the best if your going to chew there is no need to not chew redman. Unless of course you use a twist or a plug chew like cannonball, but wait redman also makes that too. So whether you chew scrap, twist or plug chewing tobacco Redman is by far the best choice and it even has the zip lock bag unlike Levi Garret. Thats my opinion!

As orders take so long to turn up in Australia, I always tag on a pack of chew to my dip order as back-up. As it is so sweet I find I chew less, but it keeps me going till the next package of dip arrives. Redman Gold Blend is probably one of my favourites along with Levi Garret, don't get that much choice when ordering online, but I guess "chewers can't be choosers". Not a bad product. Cheers.

I just bought a pouch of the prime leaf one like an hour ago, its the only one available here and its not all that fresh, but still palatable. I'm not sure I'm doing it right though (mashed it with my molars then put it in my lower lip, like dip)as the buzz was not that great, just mild mood elevation.

Redman is great chewm, taste like sweet rasins, nice big thick leafs that dont break apart much 'while chewing. 5 stars!!

I'm 14 years old, me and my buddys chew, it was ussualy only the stuff we could steal from are dads, then we found a store that would sell it to us, and since then I have trydprobably 10 different kinds of chew Levi Garret and Redman are by far the best. I prefer Levi because it has better leavse and taste and don't fall apart when you chew it, Redman has to many little bits and thin leavesso it kinda falls apart when you chew it, but it is still a good chew!

i love this stuff..i am what you'll call a part time chewer(i;ll only chew when my cousin has it with him....so you know i am always hanging with him to get that wonderfull pinch of paradise)hell yeah

Hey I like your comment there stonecoldaustin. Sounds like there is alot of wannabe chewers on here that dont know any thing about the great american chew red man. All flavors are good. The regular red man, red man golden blend, red man select, and the new red man silver blend with out sugar is pretty good. I have even tried the red man plugs. And the red man golden blend totem plug. They are all a great chew. Cant imagine what it would be like with out it on those open roads driving my truck at nights. So you wannabes who think you about chew watch out because there is a truck driver out there that loves to spit out the window and you might just wind up with a wad or some juice on your windsheild and when you go by cussing and fussing and giving me the finger all I am going to do is laugh at you with that wad of red man in my mouth.

To all you wannabe chewers who left comments on here. Probally none of you have chewed any thing in your life but gum. Red Man is the best chew out there. Nothing comes close. And thats the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so.

Good chew, doesn't burn my mouth. Doesn't seem to have alot of nicotine.

for those that dont remember whenRedMan WAS a great product when its stated Large Leaf' THATS EXACTLY what it was.. So Now for False Advertising.. If ya take notice next time ya open a bag,,Take Note of the twigs.stems an what else..? NO LARGE LEAF.. just like floor cuttings..swept up off the floor!! So pay attention next time yalls open a bag and spent anywhere from $4-$5.oo plus change on a bag.. Ya ought to be a SHAME RedMan for doin yer customers like this!!

Redman is my favorite type of chewing tobacco. I always get the golden blend. At the time i havent had any in about 3 weeks, so i am in the process or knawing my arm off and typing at the same time.

This stuff is great. You can actually chew it, and it has great flavor. Old school chew
