Depends --- cheesy and forced or natural and romantic? Those who naturally do these things tend to take it very seriously; as long as they are light-hearted and understand that things may not be perfect and may not go as planned, than it's not so bad.

This is another woman thing. I would rather have every light on around when getting to the dirty deed! Yes it is romantic and a good way to get her warmed up, but not a turn on.

Too much of a fire hazard. The candles could catch the tablecloth and the drapes on fire. Then your house would catch on fire and you'd end up standing outside with your date as the firefighters tried to save your house. I don't call that a romantic evening.

Kind of cliche', I think a picnic out by a lake on a nice day or a nice hike out in the woods is much more romantic. None of these really counts as a turn on, though, since I don't seem to get horny off having dinner.
