U2 blows. The reasons why: 1. The music is boring, plain and simple. 2. This band is not evolving...they haven't ever done anything new. They rely on recycled sounds just as any other mediocre pop band. 3. What kind of a name is "The Edge"? WTF?!!! Yeah...i thought that was cool...and then I turned 11 years old. 4. Bono. Is there anybody more self-righteous on this planet than he is? 5. One note monotone basslines. 6. Toneless, high pitched, tin can guitar sounds. 7. The fans. GAH! I can't stand the fans of this band. They act as if Bono is the savior of the world. Wake up people! 8. Bono's glasses 9. Bono's voice. Quit whining you wussy! 10. Camo pants.

U2 combines traditional rock n' roll with the most artistic (and challenging) music I have ever listened to. It keeps the spirit of punk alive without over doing it. There is definetly a reason why U2 has lasted for 25 years. It is because of their awesome music that is made for every type of people whether you are 15 or 45.

U2 is possibly the best band ever. Even though everything about them in the 80's besides their music was corny, their music has definately stood the test of time. Somehow they survived the 90's even though they strayed from the mainstream for most of it. And even though Pop isn't for everybody, it's still probably my favorite U2 record. That is, until the new one comes out... I have a good feeling about it.

Although I'm more of a fan from their stuff from the 80's, they continue to put out great music. There are not too many bands out there that have been around this long and can continue to draw record crowds. With today's music lacking credibility and the invasion of sugar-coated pop garbage, i.e. boy bands and britney spears, it's nice to know that some things never change!

U2 is an excellent band that has definately stood the test of time. The Elevation tour was awesome. Bono and The Edge still have it. They are so much better than many of the newer bands. The Elevation Tour is one of the best shows I have ever seen.

U2 is clearly superior to the bands of today. There is simply no denying it.

U2 sucks and has always sucked from their first stupid song "Gloria" to the crap they put out now. They are overearnest and self-righteous. They made a calculated effort to be more "hip" and ironic in the early Nineties, but that was disingenuous. I've seen them live a few times; Bono lost his voice one night, and I hate they way he moves around, likely squishy outmeal. "Rattle and Hum" was the worst movie ever made.

Having been a U2 fan since 1986, I've seen them a number of times in concert. The "Elevation" tour is by far the best one so far!!!!! They put on a fantastic show!!

Caught the U2 tour in Washington DC on 6/14. It was pretty excellent. It's funny how - because the new U2 record is so great - you'd never think of this as an "oldies/nostalgia" show. But that's what it is, in the best way possible. They pull out a lot of the anthemic stuff from War and Unforgettable Fire that translates so well to a big arena. The new record sounded great as well -- "Elevation" and "Kite" especially. There was none of the multimedia extravaganza from their 90s tours, but it sure wasn't missed.
