One of few child actors to move me to tears, especially at age 7, giving the most real performance I have ever seen. She can do horror, comedy, drama, realistic as hell, and even sci-fi, pure brilliance. She is my favourite actress, nevermind child actress.

I would add Jurnee Smollett who should have won best child actress for Even's Bayou in 1997. Are there no other child actresses in Hollywood? Frankly, I'm tired of seeing her in every major movie that calls for a juvenile female.

Dakota fanning is one of the greatest child actors i've ever seen, she does not try to act like an adult she plays in many child movies and is going to, she said once: how i cry in movies i think of my goldfish that died, and my grandma is mentally ill, and one day someone is her family said they couldn't come to her birthday party because she is shaving her legs, wich i think is a total stupid excuse, she just turned 11 4 days ago and if you actually knew anything about her not just her movies that she acts like a child but not in her movies. And i have seen everysingle one of her movies, she has been reading ever since she was 2 thats how she is so good at saying a hard word that she shoudn't know at her age, she is the most talented person i've ever seen

So incredibly talented. How sad is it that she's ten times the actress than Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan combined? Plus, she's literally a carbon copy of my little cousin. I swear on a stack of bibles if you stood them next to each other you could not tell them apart.

This little girl can act!!! The only problem I have with Dakota is that she is way too grown up for her age. She thinks she is 20 something. I'm sure though that she's a sweet girl, but right now she has got to be a little girl, not a grown up. That is what bugs me about child actors. They don't know how to be children. Adults won't let them be chidren. Either way Dakota DOES have the talent.

Dakota is extraordinary in Man on Fire. She has the ability to captivate and enthrall audiences. A natural charisma that is, even at her age, fully developed and harnessed. Her talent is brilliant and will only continue to grow.

This girl has more talent and charisma than most adult actors! She is great in Trapped and put on a great show in Uptown Girls (even though I didn't particularly like that movie).

A very promising young actress, and I think she will have a great career if she overcomes the typical child-star drama. I recently saw her on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and she seemed so hyper, but also seemed really happy.

She's a very sweet little girl you can't help but like immediately. I adore her tiny little voice. She seems to be one of the more promising child talents out there.

Dakota Fanning is not just a good actress, shes scarily outstanding. The mere fact that this young lady can flat out act and is even better than some of the leading hollywood actresses that are almost three times her age is simply credible.
