Great musicianship and I much prefer Geddy Lee's voice now compared to the 70s/80s with the shrieking banshee vocals.

Not a huge fan but they have their moments. I like Moving Pictures and Vital Signs. I dislike most of their fans and their pompous,pius, arrogance.

Rush is one of the greatest bands of all time. How Barenaked Ladies even got above them on this list testifies to how disillusioned the modern music listener is about real quality.

Great. Absolutely great. THis band is the enbodyment of good music. The instruments cover them best. Neil Pert moves up the beat, and Alex Lifeson tears up guitar. That was lame to say but lets forget that. Anyway, I personally like Geddy Lee's voice. No idea why. Just seems right with the lyrics.

Rush is good. Plain and simple. They've been around for thirty years and have released an album every year (except for a five year slump when Neil Peart's wife and daughter died, which I'd say is a more than adequate reason). They have the third most gold records ever(tied with KISS). They don't have music videos filled with half naked women. Hell, all most their videos involve is them playing in a artfully lit studio. Maybe they are pretentious, and of course Geddy Lee is screechy! They wouldn't be Rush if he wasn't! But listen to the music. Ignore the lyrics, if you must (although I quite enjoy them), and Geddy's voice. I'm talking the instruments. These guys are musician's musicians. And they're Canadian.

Adolescent heavy metal crap. Their lead singer doesn't sing;he screeches. You'd have to be drunk or totally strung out on drugs to enjoy this so-called music.
