Seems to be highly based on Google, and I like to use Google. Search results are more than reasonable but the big benefit is users get a small discount on all Amazon.com purchases. For people like us who life far from decent shopping that discount along with the Amazon Prime program make online shopping easy and worthwhile. Added: there's no need to install any toolbar to get the discount. 1.57% if I recall.

Seems pretty cool. Alexa site information (ranking, reach, launch date, site speed) layered on top of Google search results. Amazon tends to do things properly, so I expect good things out of A9. It's kind of neat to see if a Web site has been referenced in books as well - just another way to tell a site's legitimacy. But once again, the usefulness of A9 Web site data depends on how many people download the Alexa tool bar - the million dollar question is when are we going to see Amazon discounts for people that download the Alexa toolbar?
