Alison Stewart is the ONLY substitute anchor for Countdown that can carry off the humor. She has comic timing, poise, and self awareness. She is by far my favorite news anchor on TV.

This is the woman who announced during a Louisiana election that history would be made this day. Something to the effect that Louisiana will elect either its first female governor or the nation's first Native American governor, when the candidates were one female and one male of Asian Indian extraction. Smart indeed!

I can't watch MSNBC without seeing Alison Stewart. She gets me in a great mood every day.

Alison is a rising star in my book. Saw her on Countdown a while back, and she did an amazing job.

I think Alison does a great job. She adds personality to the news. She is in a word real. When I look at her delivering the news I say she does it in a way that you feel as though you are sitting together talking about politics or the news. You are doing great!!!!

This girl is so fine and she does a good job anchoring. We abosolutely needed some nice looking ladies on the news. I surely envy her boyfriend i cannot find such beautiful women who are well educated. You either get yourself a hunk who went to school or a good looking woman who hardly completed High school or a community college. .......GO ON GIRL....

Cringeworthy. She's NOT attractive, and she doesn't seem to realize that she no longer works for MTV or VH1, but a serious news station. Too casual with the delivery. When she's the third anchor alongside Sam Shane, Laurie Jennings or whoever, she becomes even worse, almost like a tag along. You don't need three anchors at a time, especially if she is one of the three.

She's always had talent, but being on the cesspool that is MTV tended to be a drawback. I actually forgot she was around until running into her on TV the other day and was reminded as to how good she still is. She's matured in her looks; whereas she looked out of place dressing to appeal the hip-hop culture, she not looks very damn good.
