an ignorant woman who can't make a coherent point on anything. her ramblings are nearly unintelligible at times. her hatred for bush is so strong that she manufactures transparently false arguments and discredits her entire premise. which is too bad as well thought out and articulate arguments can in fact be made in favor of much of what she advocates. she is so bad that i sometimes wonder if she is actually a republican mole, or perhaps a satire.

Randi is the best. Luckily, we still have someone that is willing to give us some real facts about what is going on in this country!

While I agree with a fair amount of what Randi says, she has tended to slip into ridiculous phraseology and hyper-emotional ranting. Personally, I look for a mostly rational, engaging analysis of current events, and I have trouble finding it with most of the national programs these days. And it doesn't help that AAR is constantly repeating the same old (and often lame) public service announcements, either.

This person...is scum of the earth. She is a low life liberal, has nothing of any value to say, and needs to be taken off ANY and All radio. What a disgrace to have a person like this on the air!!!!

So many people need to hear this! (especially in red states) Thought provoking, to say the least. Check her facts, then decide for yourself. THINK, people! Don't be satisfied eating the garbage that TV news feeds you!

Sadly, I'm not sure if Randi new the truth if it came up and bit her in the butt, especially in regards to the recent hurricane and related fiascos that occured both at the federal and state levels. After giving her show the benefit of the doubt, and having and open mind enough to give her show a try for the past 6 weeks, I couldn't see where even the most liberal of folks in the country could view her show in a positvie light. She's abrasive, abusive, highly innacurate in regards to facts. As to fair and balanced style of political debate, this show is far far from it. Sadly, the Randi Rhodes show caters to the far far left wing radicals, conspiracy nuts, and those pre disposed to the the "Hate Bush at all costs", "George Bush is Evil" crowd. If this viewpoint is what you share, then this show is for you.

Randi Rhodes is very bright and knows her facts. She doesn't screen her calls and she lets those who disagree with her speak. I think she is great!

An uneducated Bully. If I wanted to hear someone cut people off and abuse the power of controlling the Microphone I would listen to Bill ORiley. I have on numerous occassion listen to her pull facts Out of her Butt as Al Franken would say. Frequently she is completely unaware of current events or historical facts. I listen to Air America untill Noon at which time I turn it off until 4:00 for the next show. As far as liberal goes ... Well she is a religous bigot and that doesn't wash in the big tent. She needs to be dropped by Air America she makes us all look like just like what we rail against.

If there were a place for 6 stars Randi would get my vote for it. She is the most informative talk show host on either side and more people need to take what she says more seriously!

I love Randi's politics, she is an amazingly fresh voice in the sea of timidity and obliviousness that consitutes the American media these day. I even forgive her endless ranting. What bothers me about Randi is that vast chunks of her dialog seem to be more about Randi than about the politics we all care so much about. She goes on and on about her looks, where she's been, famous people she's seen, and how wonderful her fans think she is. We even have to put up with blathering fans going on endlessly about her fabulousness. Stick to politics Randi-and carry on the great work.

I think Randi's show is great. I am so tired of the media not telling us anything. At least if you disagree with her and want to challenge a fact you can look it up on her web site. Keep up the god work.

I sat through Randy's show for the first time today and I feel that I was being punished for actually knowing anything. This broad is a heroine to grey haired old bags that wear tennis shoes.

UPDATED: Basically, I like most of her politics and she raises some good points. However, I agree that she shouts over people who call in and that is just rude, no matter where you stand. And she rants and rants for several minutes at a time and it is just not entertaining to listen to. Also, she is sometimes sloppy with her details. I remember her talking about how Northern Ireland was an example of people killing each other over religious differences (in this case the differences between Protestantism and Catholicism). If your understanding of the NI conflict is that limited, you had better just not mention it at all and move on. Sloppiness like that just really detracts from some of the more valid issues that she discusses.

Randi does an excellent job of keeping liberals informed of right wing deceat.Plus if any one saw the HBO special on Air America- I give Randi's rack 5 stars too.

She's smart, righteously indignant, well-informed, and funny. Not to everyone's taste, I suppose, and I even know liberals who have problems with her style. Still, considering the entrenched, arid vapidity and uniformity of most of what passes for talk radio these days, Randi's show is a breath of fresh air.

She is well informed compared to Limbaugh, but she is just complete trash. I wish she and Rush Limbaugh would take their lightweight bafoonery off the air.

Randi knows what she is talking about and does it with passion. So glad to finally be able to hear Air America in Los Angeles, which has become the wasteland of AM radio.

She is smart and extremely articulate but, man, how rude can a person be and still be called a host? I have yet to hear her actually engage ayone in a conversation. She either talks at, or over, whoever is on the other end of the line... even if they agree with her! I would give it one star but I think her content is worth her time on the air. I can usually listen for a few minutes and then I find myself turning it off in disgust... even though more often than not I'm intrigued with her topic and agree with her opinion. She seems to be the kind of smart person you meet at a party who, even though they are intelligent enough to hold their own in a discussion, end up dominating the conversation by simply talking louder and faster than everybody else. I guess it makes good radio for people accustomed to being told what to think, especially if it fits with their political bent. Radio for sheep...and for those who can't appreciate nuance. I know she thinks it's cute to act like she does... in a you can't touch my mind kind of way... but I for one find it coompletely unappealing. Although, I must say I'm glad she's out there and I hope she is reaching the ones that need her brand of education.

Who is this raving woman? Makes you think? Loves family and friends? She is the most condescending narrow minded talk show host Ive ever heard. She continues to berate all republicans and anyone who dares to disagree with her viewpoint. She has made numerous innuendos denouncing traditional heterosexual marriage that fly in the face of what that greatest majority of Americans embrace (one man one woman, deal with it. The vast majority of Americans enjoy traditional lifestyles). She stomps all over the second amendment and has spewed false information concerning assault weapons and their supposed availability at gun shows all over America. I think shes just mad and certainly angry that her boy John Kerry didnt win. The incredible stories she has shared about disenfranchised voters in Ohio and fraud in Florida. Why hasnt she jumped on the bandwagon on behalf of Washington state voters where a democrat won the race for governor by less than 150 votes (after three recounts) where officials from both parties have identified known felons and dead people casting votes?? Air America will, in all likelihood, enjoy a great run with Randi for a few more years as the liberals lick their wounds after being beaten in the presidential race and giving ground in the House and Senate as well as loosing pro-homosexual marriage votes in every state that voted last November. Its too bad that Randi can not practice the tolerance and objectivity she preaches. While I agree with her (and most of America) that the lives lost in Iraq are precious and even one is too many, I have no respect for someone who can see this evil, and yet turn a blind eye to the fact that every 36 seconds in America, an un-born child is murdered by a legal abortion. It would be interesting to know if she works for free or if, perhaps, she reaps the financial benefits provided her by living in this great country full of horrible big businesses. She does make me laugh. The big difference between the two of us is that I dont hate her, or what she represents. This is America and we have the freedom to vote. Apparently, more of us associate with George Bush and what he represents than what it is that Randi rants about.

Amazing, funny, smart, likes MEN, loves family and friends, treats audience like family...some may be Republican family members, just like MINE, but she makes you laugh, think and want to THINK.

Finally, someone willing to question the status quo. I've heard her use many facts that I didn't see in the mainstream, and after doing my research found that she is usually spot on with these items.

Have given Randi's show several tries but cannot get passed her constant whining. Have read all the postings and come away with three common descriptions of her style/show content. 1) She's intelligent. Yes she is -- but so are Al Franken and Rush Limbaugh. 2) She has a sense of humor. Again, yes she does. In fact this is the trait that humanizes her. Her humor is wicked, sarcastic and, at times, self-deprecating. It goes a long way to making her screeching palatable. 3.) She comes to the table armed with the facts. Uh, wait a tic, not so fast. All I ever hear her do is wail (WAIL) about how the Republicans have stolen the election (again, ugh!) Just one example. Listen to her go on and on about Alberto Gonzales' hearings on Capitol Hill. She keeps hammering away at the fact that Gonzales called the Geneva Convention quaint. He did no such thing. He called certain portions of it quaint such as providing prisoners with scientific equipment (to stimulate their intellect while otherwise bored in detention), providing them with script (that's advanced monetary pay in our modern parlance) and clean uniforms (oh wait a sec... they don't where uniforms). Facts? No, slanted opinion is more like it (just like EVERY OTHER radio host regardless of their political affiliation.

RAndi Rhodes is wonderful.

She is extremely knowledgeable and straight forward. While she almost always has facts and sources to back them, she continually tells listeners to get their own sources. To research every so called fact. While I do enjoy her abrasive style, she does often cut off callers who disagree with her. As a person trying to understand how others came to their position on issues,I would prefer if she would allow others to voice their opinion. Then we may all just learn a little more.

The best host there is! She by far is more intelligent and more reasonable than those silly idiots like Rush or Sean.

I feel sorry for Randi. She has got to be one of the most unhappy, anit-americans I have ever heard. I tried to listen to her show, but it was so intelectually void that I changed the station. I can hear name calling from my kids...

Speaking for us older women (over 74 yrs) thank goodness for this young women. I worked the polls in a blue state, happily. But I have no fear that Randi and pals will prevail. All is in good hands if she is on the air. But let's get more outlets so those who haven't heard her yet, do! She is smart; she works hard at her fact checking; and airs alerts we won't hear for two or three days, if at all. She is a true patriot!

Need more people like her on the radio! You go girl!
