This was a good remake, I actually liked the newer version a little better than the original.

It's rare when the remake is not only better but much more so than the original. This is one of those occasions. I guess there's always a potential for that when the first one reeks. The new one was much livlier, well written and featured pretty decent performances. While much more watchable than the first, the remake still isn't a great movie, but it is a fairly entertaining one for its type.

Remake is to it's time as the original was to the70's.

Although I liked the original too. this recent one is good. Jamie Lee Curtis is great as the mom stuck in her daughters body. and Linday Lohan did a nice job in reverse. this remake was funnier in spots. One of the rare times when a remake is as good if not better than the original.
