For someone who is a middle class rider this bike is everything you could want. I have had mine for a year now and would never think of giving it up. Nothing runs like a HONDA.

Quick and qiet needs shut his quick and loud mouth. hondas suck and we all know that. the only reason there even on the market is because they can make a good car and found some left over money to make a motorcycle. u suck and so does your bike. quick and qietlearn from your name b qiet. and hey 2 fast for yfz, the only reason y u can beat a yamaha is because uv put like fourthousand more dollars in your bike. but im sure that soon your going to blow your intire engine and then youlll be waving at the yamaha guys as you set and only wish that you had just gotten a yamaha. cause yamahas dont require nitrous to be fast. you can put an air system and a jet kit on a 350 and kick any hondas ass. peace and love to all honda suckers who spent way to much money on their P.O.S

Nobody seems to have a clue anymore, I mean thee is this awesome quad that is almost race-ready as soon as you buy it and people are dissing it. I've owned 5 sport quads and with every one they just keep getting better. The Honda is my current quad and is by far the best one yet, I've had the raptor 660, banshee, yfz450, 400ex and this one. I dont care what anybody says especially Yamaha guys, on the trail or track it hardly has anything to do with the machine your on but you yourself the rider. I took my 400ex to a trail system up here in Canada and couldnt find a raptor , banshee, yfz450 or a 450R that could stick with me in trail. As you all can tell I'm not really biased towards Quad makers just the people who ride them ALL talk

Alright, i just bought a honda 450r a week ago and right after I got the first twenty four hours in I raced a yfz 450 and left it behind badly.i dont care about you Yamaha lovers anyway, just cuz u cant handle a 450r doesnt mean that you have to tell other ppl that it stinks. I recommend that anyone get this fourwheeler. I have White brothers pipes,a supercharger,nitrous,camshafts and a lot more. If your looking for a new four wheeler then get the new Honda 450R!!!! You'll blow them off the road.... Oh yea my fourwheeler is now running at 98 mph.

Im 14 goin on 15 and i have a honda TRX450R. Ive been ridding since i was 3 and racin since i was 5. My honda 450R has a Youshimara TRS pipe,ITP tires,Elka Suspineson,Pro taper bars,etc. This is the most advance machine i have ever rode. I have about 8000 in parts(im serious i asked my dad)I have not been beatin by a Yamaha YFZ450(not sayin they are not powerful) and not any 250R`s. I cant wait to race some one with the new sukuki quadracer 450. Plus eletric is for women i NEVER wanted eletric even when i had my eton 90 i used the kick. Eletric is for women real guys use the kick.plus if u race eletric ways u down.

I think the honda 450R is the best quad on earth because for one its a honda and they are so fast and they have so much power

JUST PICKED UP A 2006 450R WITH ELECTRIC START .THIS MACHINE IS AWESOME AND WILL WALK MY BUDDYS YFZ450 WITH NO PROBLEM CLIMBS HILLS GREAT AND DOES GOOD ON THE TRAILS.IF YOUR LOKING FOR AN ATV LOOK NO FURTHER.

I don't think it will ever walk a built banshee, but that's only becase banshee's are 2 stroke. the 450 is great and I have never ridden a better quad. Yamahas just seem wierd to me. a banshee has nothing on the 450 R when it's doing anything but a straight line. not to say that the 450 is slow, it's just not a 2 stroke. If you want to smoke a banshee, build up a 2 stroke 250R, or put a suzuki 700 cc engine out of an arctic cat m7/f7 and build a drag quad

I have a 450R stock with just body upgrades... I easily walk all over Banshees and YFZ's, and trust me I ride with the best of them.

450r is a beigener bike, yfz's is for more advanced ridder

I just bought a black 2005 and it is absolutely awesome. Stepping from a highly modded 416EX to this is still an unreal jump. I will agree with everyone that it is extremely difficult to ride technical in first but whoo needs first gear at the dunes. Even with 20 inch 8 paddle edges it still launches hard in second. One thing I would like to add is for all the haters to go away and stick to their yamahas. I dont want them on the same bike as me anyway.

Although this is not the first bike I have ever ridden, it is the first bike I have ever owned and I am not sorry about it at all. This is definately the best quad on the market. I have a White Bros. slip on pipe, K&N air filter, and it has been re-jetted and it has a great holeshot, even greater top end, and most of all it is very reliable. This is just an all around good bike.

The 450R is great. I am really pleased with it. This being my first quad, it has definately kept me excited about riding whenever I get chance. I couldn't ask for much more power, it handles great on the trails and is plenty fast in the wide open. And you can stop on a dime.

I love my 450R but I would really like electric start I wish they would come out with a kit to put it on my 450R

The only thing i didn't like on the 450r is its first gear. Other than that its great.

I just brought home my 2005 450R today and this quad is balls to the wall. Everything about this quad is fantastic. I do have one complaint, first gear sucks, but a different sprocket will solve that problem!

i think the honda runs good but 2 be an out of the box mxracer i feel they could have done better on the shocks with more travel front and back . but you can make the motor alittle more racer with hot cam stage 2 for only 125bucks ...the yfz cams < r over300 bucks.

I hate honda and they just copy off of yamaha and when the YZF canme out the new honda came out and i think its ugly. I have a raptor 350

i love my new 450r the only thing i think that needs improvement is that 1st gear could be geared a little lower. but other than that its a great bike.

I purchased a trx450r last week. I broke it in properly and headed for the sand dunes on the Oregon coast. Here is my initial feedback: 1. The motor revs quickly and responsively. I really enjoyed the ability to get RPMs up in a hurry. 2. This motor does not like to be lugged. The valve train gets noisey and there is little power at the bottom of the RPM range. If you are used to a 400ex, this will be a somewhat different ride. Many riders are gearing this quad down some to allow for slower, more technical riding. 3. Despite some weight savings, having an electric starter really would be a huge benefit to this atv. 4. This quad is pretty tuned-down out of the box. Compared to other 450Rs that had basic cam, jetting intake and exhaust mods (about $250 worth)mine was lacking on top-end power. 5. The brakes are amazing! I have never found a better set of brakes, these are german sportscar quality units. 6. With some adjustment, the shocks are very nice and make for a great ride. 7. The seat is a little hard, my posterior was a bit sore after an hour of riding. This was something that I did not experience on my 400ex. I know this is a performance quad but please, would a little more foam really hurt anything? 8. The stock rubber did a pretty good job on dirt and wet sand. These are better tires than the stock 400ex tires. In summary, this seems to be a fantastic quad that, with minor modification, will really have all the power most folks need.

I think the honda 450 is one of the best quads out at this time. Also the hrc kit makes alot of bang for your buck, highly recommend it.

WOW! What an AWESOME Machine. I just purchased a 2005 black one and took it to the Ocala National Forest last weekend. This is by far the best 4-wheeler ever made. The acceleration will amaze you. It's like a rocket on 4 wheels and it's incredible braking system will stop you almost immediately. If your thinking about getting one, I would highly recommend the Honda 450R.
