Ok so this guy is Mr. Six. we can assume hes 'old', right? Is he sixty (it is 'Six Flags after all)? well the dictionary definition of a sixty year old is: Webster's 1913 Dictionary Sex`a`ge`nari`an n.1.A person who is sixty years old. So is this mister SEX?!?! I for one think it's disgusting!!!!

fivejewels2dog s 08/02/2004
The guy creeps my kids out. I don't blame them, who'd want to get on the Six Flags bus with a creepy guy who looks like a pedophile?
playertimer 07/31/2004
i bought a shirt with him on the front and my friends think it is so the rave!
Wrinkles 07/28/2004
This is a fabulous advertisement...the absolute best in years!!! Every time I see it I want to stand up and dance along while being pulled into the ad show and shake this fella's hand.
Spuddy98 07/25/2004
When these commercials started I was really creeped out with this old guy on a bus... we older people remember the old guy in chitty chitty bang bang! But Now they are great. There is even a Firefighter I work with that does the dance at the Fire Station!!
rnhotshot 07/24/2004

It's a great commercial group. My entire family love the commercials and stop whatever is going on to watch when the music is heard. Great job to all the ad guys and to Mr. Six. Way to go!!!!!

I absolutely love this guy! They call him Mr Six and you can see some of the commercials online at this url... http://www.sixflags.com/press/adlaunch.asp ... and the original song by the Vengaboys, We Like To Party (The Vengabus) is here... http://tinyurl.com/3tofp] ... Enjoy!

I LOVE that commercial. No matter what I'm doing, after I've seen that commercial, I just FEEL better. And I would LOVE to know the genius who put it together. Any info? Thanks.

Outstanding! I was blown away when I first saw the old man commercial. It completely caught me off-guard. The UP And DOWN song from the Venga Boys is perfect. Not only do I admire the dance routine, I do it as a half-time exhibition during my trivia shows. The whole crowd gets into it and cracks up. They all know and love the old geezer. What tremendous energy and sparkle. It just grabs ya. The creator of this ad should be proud. It's the very best I've ever seen. Music, timing, visuals and expressions capture the observer completely. I'd like to have all the Dancing Man commercials on one DVD so that I can play it just to pump up my day. Congrats, Six Flags. You've got a real winner here. My best complements.
sangriamixer 07/17/2004
My entire family, including my 14 grandkids rock and roll when they see the commercial. That old freaky guys moves are smooth. But we still can't get his smooth moves down yet. That takes coordination!!! Luv him...
AngelFace 07/14/2004
The Old Man character is such a GoofBall, he crackes me up!!! And that theme song, which I've heard playing in Mexico at many of the Resorts before, now, just makes me stop what ever I am doing and BOOGIE!! Great Ad!!!
Jeff Bennett 07/13/2004
The old guy rocks the whole family loves it.
cootzoot 07/13/2004
Delightful!
kamylienne 07/11/2004
. . . . whoa. Freaky. Something about this commercial just stops me dead in my tracks when that old guy just busts out to that old Venga Bus (I think that's what it was called) song. I haven't made up my mind whether I like it or not, but it certainly has my attention regardless. UPDATE: Whoa. 70 posts on just thing one thing? I guess it at least got some attention!
sixflagad 07/11/2004
He is great. Does he have a fan club? Best Ad for anything I have seen a long time. I never go to this much trouble over an Ad.

No matter what mood I'm in, when he comes on and starts that dance with that music, I start laughing and feel better. This is one of the best commercials in years.
Scott Johnson 07/08/2004
I believe he is a world class super hero. I'm confident he possesses powers that are not from this earth. Look at him go, yea-yea-yea!
Larry W. Hall 07/08/2004
I don't care how bad a day you have had, just one commercial with this guy in it and all the bad times just don't exist anymore!I hope he's around for a long time to come!
spencercat 07/08/2004
I am glad to learn he is a person in makeup - had just said to my husband that I hope it is latex and not his actual hideous face - would give kids nightmares - very creepy!
marketresearch er 07/08/2004
I think this ad is simply THE BEST! The music is catchy and the old guy is hilarious. Man, can he cut a rug! I recently lost my call center job(company sent jobs to Canada) and this ad just gives you a real feel of optimism and good times.
darber 07/08/2004
I love that dancing man! He is so funny! Who is he and where did he come from?

weperry 07/06/2004
I love it. It just makes me feel good. Makes me want to go to Six Fags with him on that old bus. The old man makes me feel young again.
SheWolf 07/06/2004
I love the Dancing Man! I HATE lame cartoon characters in hot, silly unbelievable costumes. I think Six Flags was really smart to downplay them and come up with a new, human, loveable character everyone would remember.
Yen 07/03/2004
The dancing man is so neat and funny! I like the way he dances. I love the music too. It's like he's making the people jiggle and come to Six Flags. I love him!
cactusjack 07/02/2004
I gave it a one because zero wasnt' a choice. I don't get it. Who is this guy? And what does he have to do with the theme park? Annoying tune. Makes me want to throw a rock through the tv.
wotsitabout 07/02/2004
He's so awful, he crosses the line and becomes wonderful.
KBourne 07/02/2004
Six Flags did a PHENOMENAL job on their commercials with the Dancing Man! He reminds me so much of my dad! Halriously Entertaining!
psonderman 07/01/2004
The dancin' guy is pure magic! Kudos to Six Flags and its agency for allowing such an entertaining concept to air. Let's see more!
Nightwolf_V1.0 07/01/2004
Actually, alpepper, the nearest Six Flags is in Prince George's County MD just 30 minutes north of D.C.
alpepper 07/01/2004
Saw it for the first time yesterday. It cracked me up. I've heard that song a few times before and it is infectious. Old dude can dance (although rumor has it that old dude is really a young dude). I just can't figure out why they would advertise for Six Flags in Virginia when the nearest Six Flags is in New Jersey and I have Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion both within an hour and a half from me.
Carolyn Herman 07/01/2004
Normally I don't remember the sponsor of the ad. This guy is so funny that I remember Six Flags. What a great ad campaign. Carolyn Herman
Lilly Anne May 06/30/2004
My Dad is obsessed with him and I don't know why. His legs seemed detached from his body when when he dances. I think he is actually a she pretending to be a he pretending to be old. I bet the dancer is Mary Loe Retten, because the person is obviously flexible.
Steve Joltin 06/30/2004
I think it is really an old man who can dance. He has to do the big smile because he doesn't have any teeth. The song is the Vengaboys I Like To Party but also has the beat of the same group's Ho Ho. Sorry to all of you who fine old age frightening, you will be there one day and hopefully you'll be dancing too.
Boscorina 06/30/2004
Caught my attention the first time I saw it...Almost fell off the couch laughing. Love it....Does anyone know for SURE or will we ever find out who it is and how old? Maybe they ought to have a contest or something for guessing.
LadyShark4534 06/30/2004
I was hoping the bus would hit him.......and the driver of the bus would be none other than me.
MysticAngel 06/29/2004
The little old man is just to cute for words. Anyone know where i can get a pic of him....sgreer@cvalley.net
bcbass 06/28/2004
My son was in the commercial. He had a blast shooting it. The dancing Man is about 28 years old. It took them about 4 hours to have him look like that.
mikeholly93 06/28/2004
Very funny commercial!
DreamerGirlie2 47 06/28/2004
I LOVE THAT MAN! HE IS OH SO SEXY! I cont say enough about him, he's the sexiest person alive.
Pinwheel 06/27/2004
The Old guys is frightening. I lie awake at night fearful that if I fall asleep he'll creep up the stairs, sneak into my bedroom, and bludgeon me with a hammer until I'm dead. My last vision would be that of this terrifying ghoul laughing as he continuously strikes me about the head and body. I imagine as the last breath excaped my lungs, he would drop his pants and urinate on my lifeless body then dance his way down the stairs to continue his rampage on the rest of my family. He would beat my father until he was paralyzed and force him to watch as he beat my mother and abused her corpse. If six flags is willing to instill such fear into minds of television viewers, I couldn't imagine the horror that must exist at their parks.
spazooka 06/26/2004
I think the old man is played by a young woman with great makeup. What do you think?
ClassicTVFan47 06/24/2004
Hilarious stuff! Everytime I see him dance with that goofy expression on his face, it makes me laugh.
