08/05/2005 | I recently had the priveledge to hear Red and Bob at a club in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was an incredible demonstration of what delta blues is all about. Red and Bob work together like biscuits and gravy. Also props to the local band that backed them up very effectively, the Blue Rythym Kings. Great show!

05/08/2004 | If you like a lot of the big name classic style delta bluesmen, like Muddy Waters and Lightnin' Hopkins, you should give Red a try. The songs are simple but pure, his voice and his guitar are both really cool. Most of his songs are just him and a guitar, and he's got a lot to sing about; read his bio http://www.louisiana-red.com/index1.html . He earns his fourth star by being by far the ugliest bluesman I have ever seen.
