UPDATE: This 21 crap has gotta go. You can vote at 18, you can join the Marines at 18, why not have a damn beer?

tdhaha: I agree on all counts. If you aren't too young to be sacrificed at the altar of Shrub's New World Order, you aren't too young to drink!

The legal age was 18 when I turned of age and there was no more chaos [in fact, LESS] than there is now. We were responsible, but of course, it was a more responsible era in time IMO. That was 1975. There are more DWI's and murders and crime now than there ever was then....and I venture to guess some of the reasons are 1/ the destruction of the family 2/ unlimited immigration thanks to the Chimp in Chief and his open border lobby 3/ filling prisons and blowing financial resources with marijuana offenders..the most blatant hypocrisy.

I agree, underaged drinking is bad. We should have laws against it or something. Oh, wait...

I'm 18, I have only had one experiance where I was drunk enough to where I barely remember it. The experiance was fun and I might just do it again when possible. Did I drive? No. None of my friends are stupid enough to do that, nor was I in a environment where it was even needed. I was in my home and friends were among me. Underage drinking does not need to stop. The laws set up in America are made by prude, conservative and bribed politicians who think they know what's best for everyone, when they are only making stringent laws to keep control. Look at other countrys that have way better alcohol related death ratios then us. Germany for example. The only people who die to drinking, or underage drinking to that fact, are either a victim, or the one stupid enough to let it get out of control. Stop underage drinking, sure. But only stop underage STUPID people from drinking.
