A definite man of God

I think, or know that people, such as who criticize preachers such as TD Jakes, Paula White, Benny Hinn are focused on themselves instead of reaching a lost and dying world as these preachers do. Some focus on details of messages or theology rather than their own neighbors who are going to hell and thwarting God working through these men and women of God to the lost or unchurched. Further more, no one has a right to criticize anyone especially if they have not personally talked to this person, and then brought a friend (as the Bible tells us to), and finally isn't actually in the business of saving people. The reality is, people are getting saved through these ministries, I've personally been changed by their ministry, and the people who criticize these men and women of God are too busy accusing these people and their ministries should be promoting the gospel, not joining with the accuser of the brethren.

T. D jakes is a man of God. It is proven through his testimony the way he carries himslef and the way GOD USES HIM. The Holy Spirit will not manifest himself through man but only through God so how can any man touch millions of souls without the participation of the Holy Spirit. Many of you who dare to critize the works of God and the servants of the Lord . Who are you that makes you the judge? I believe the only Judge is God. The Bible speaks on those who talk against his Holy Spirit its called Blasfemy! Thats is never forgiven watch what you say before you say because you are not talking against man but the Holy Spirit. TD Jakes could be the next Billy Graham in evangelizing souls to Jesus Christ. He brings a strong biblical message for all to understand. We need more like him.

A servant is not greater than his master and he is only accountable to his master (Matthew 10 v24-26, Romans 4v4). Jesus was criticised and abused by theologians of his days. Those who are busy criticizing TD Jakes should be patient for the judgement day. As for me TD Jake's ministry has been a great blessing to me and points me more to Jesus & God than to himself.

JD Jakes is another Billy Graham. He may be a different colour, but he has the same GOD as Billy. He preaches a great message. The one I love the most is called "Turn Agony into Estacy", which is about getting all our stuff back that the devil has robbed each and everyone of us over the years!

As a Partner to Bishop Jakes' Ministey, I know he is a man of God for this season, for many of the saints. I receive monthly tapes from his ministry, and each and every one is an on-time word for my Spiritual walk with God. The Lord speaks a timely Word through Bishop Jakes. I am blessed to call this man of God my Bishop. He sows into my life with his open heart, prepared to receive a Word from God, and speak that Word to those who have an ear to hear. I am not understanding this comparison between oneness and the trinity. It's really just a matter of sematics. I believe in the trinity and oneness, because they are both the same. Bishop Jakes does not preach a feel-good message. Just the opposite, if you are saved, and not in line with the Word of God, his messages will not feel so good. He loves the Lord, and is not afraid to use His rod of correction. Bishop does not preach a prosperity message. He has written many books, that have blessed many women, men, families, and marriages. His books are written as inspired by the Holy Spirit. His books sell. He does not have to beg or manipulate the people for money. This is why is does not have to preach a feel-good or prosperity message. He don't need your money. God is pouring out His blessings upon His chosen one. Bishop Jakes don't care what those of you who don't even know him, say about him. He knows who he is in Christ Jesus, and don't need your approval.

TD Jakes is a Modalist, and is NOT a Christian by orthodox standards. Don't be sucked in by his deciving use of language, and by his charismatic style. Pure poison.

One of the really Bad reflections on the Christian faith is When Fellows Like T.D.Jakes and Rod Parsley[now Political activist] Get the secular media coverage to the masses,example Him being on the O.Winfrey Show and the topic was marital abuse! Although He made some truthful points from Scripture on the Subject, I didn't hear Him Share the witness of Jesus Christ! Sure That would be a Wonderful Vehicle to touch Souls being on Oprah ,But those who Must take the message must take the True message!!! I kinda worry about T'D's and the likes of Mr.Parsley earthly Ministry Message Of Jesus!!

T.D Jakes is great at what he dose, I think his style might be more that some people can handle. On the other hand I pray that he don't get too far off into the get your blessing game.

I think Bishop Jakes has a good ministry and a sincere heart. I don not agree with all of his doctrines. Enough said. I am beginning to think that TV Evangelist Buster is against anyone who is not traditional Baptist. :-)

Ever seen the BLUES BROTHERS movie? Mmm hmm, same here. Now I don't want to sound... bad in the least friends, but as for my review... I see Jakes preaching mainly to his own race it seems, and a scant few white folk ever attend, and when they do find seats TO attend? They get brainwashed.. the whole HE'S ANNOINTED! politcally correct stuff. not every black preacher is annointed! There's some racist ones out there man! Im not saying TD is however. A few of his shows were OK... but I dont watch him for long usually. Has anyone looked into his actual, documented PAST? About how he was part of that whole nation of islam crud? That's a fact - but rumor still runs about saying he's still into it, I dunno, not supposed to bear false witness, i know. yelling and screaming and sweating... ehhh... getting into the word is one thing, but hootin and hollerin... nah I dont get off on that kind of worship. I dont get off on DEAD SILENCE either, during worship, lol. I just dont like all these christian people on this review site calling every preacher a holy annointed man - look people, just cuz they are on television with a 20 million dollar church? Doesnt mean they are annointed! Alright? I've passed by TBN studios in irving texas, and jakes' church there too, i live south of that area... they need to quit preaching tithing, and sell off some of their $1000 trapping in their churches and studios, if they need money THAT bad. TD may or may not be a man of God, i dunno, i dont watch him. No real final verdict from me i guess.

TD Jakes is a very annointed man of God. Some of you seem to think Jakes believes in Oneness, but I'm not sure. I know I do not and scripture sides with me on that. Who spoke, from Heaven, to John the Baptist when Jesus was baptized? Who was Jesus praying to in the Garden? Who did he speak to on the Cross? Himself??? Jakes preaches the Word like an Old Time Pentecostal preacher and gets his point across well. God has used him to heal many emotionally and spiritual and I believe God does speak through him.

When God gave David two oppertunities to kill Saul, David would not because Saul was annointed into leadership by God. We need to follow Davids example. Every one who has critzied TD. Jakes has probally also rated Benny Hin, Junita Bynun, Joel Osteen, Paula White, and many more poorly. These are the Lords annointed becarful how you speak of them. They make mistakes just like you and me but God has put them in the positions their in for a reason. If you disagree with what they teach pray not only for them but for yourself as well. The bible talks about the punishment for those who came against the Lords annointed. Becareful! Just because these people are successful and have money does not mean their false teachers. If these are the only reasons why you have problems with them then you need to check your own walk. Just a thought!

**Attention Fellow Christian Brothers and Sisters:** I love the Lord just as you do and I long for a closer relationship with him, just like you do but we have to LISTEN to the words that we hear. The Bible contains the only words in this world that we don't have to question. Many of you on this rating board state the obvious reaponse that TD Jakes followers state. The man feed my soul with the Holy Spirit or He's a man of God, I love the way he preaches. ...I want you to try something though..Next time you listen to a TD Jakes sermon, I want you to write down each NEW thing that you learn about the Bible or a characteristic of Christ. I'm not being sarcastic as I write this either. Listen with a discerning ear and you will realize that he does not build Christ's flock, he just hypes them up. Anyone who has a talent for speaking can motivate a crowd with words but only a blessed man of God can carry the Word of God into the hearts of everyone who listens. I think what happens here is that people love to listen to TD Jakes because it makes them Feel Good. But folks, Christ didn't come here to make us feel good as much as he came here to educate and free us. Pray on it and I hope you come to the realization of what this guy is really doing.

I am watching Bishop Jakes right this second on BET preaching a message he calls God of My Tight Places in which his major point is that sometimes God's grace has got to be sufficient in your life. He just said We need to get out of this place where we preach this magic religion where everybody is rich and nobody is sick and nothing ever goes wrong. He said we have to learn to deal with what God gives us and walk forth trusting His grace to sustain us even if that tumor doesn't go away or that husband doesn't come back. Yeah, really sounds like a name-it-and-claim-it, false teacher to me. NOT!!!!!

I'm surprised to find that TD had such a low rating. I really get alot out of him. I think alot of people are judging some of these preachers delivery and not the message. I like his delivery. I was raised in a boring Catholic church - sit, stand, kneel - repeat. T.D and other enthusiastic teacher/preachers, that get so excited they got to wipe the sweat off there brow, gets me excited to know God and Jesus more. I want to get excited. So rate on the message he gives. By the way, Jesus was not poor....he became poor for us. And for those who keep griping about money. Have you ever tried to partner up with a righteous ministry? Get out of the flesh and try it. You might be surprised.

TD Jakes is an interesting character for sure. ________ Like anybody else in the world, he has his hits and misses. ________ His take on the trinity?? wow, it is about as clear as Hugh Ross's take on Noah's flood._______2 questions .... was Jesus practicing His amazing ventriloquism skills in Mark 1:10-11 (seeing as there is only one God and not three persons to the Godhead) ((allegedely)) _________ also, so if Jesus was rich spiritually, then became poor .... was He was spiritually poor?_________ Perhaps I am mistaken, but is that saying a lot for His omnipotence? A personal favourite, simply because Jakes, like Hagee, has a fatter ass than me...excellent for the self esteem. Obviously Jakes has a different way of fasting to other xtians...maybe he 'money fasts', where he strains to last 24 hrs without spending any.

Jesus said, Leave all that you have and follow me. How much faith do you really need when you're raking in money hand over fist? When this follower of Christ donates all he has to the poor and lives simply off his faith in the Lord, I'll start paying attention to him. After all, God sustains the lillies of the valley, if this guy really has faith he should have no problem. Yeah, he's an ass clown. He puts cash before Jesus.

Yall be careful.. Here is another man of God who is annointed but is sometimes off with doctrine, which for babes is not good, now if you are seasoned then you can rightly divide what he is saying. I support his view on the Oneness of God. The scriptures support his view on the oneness of God rather than three Gods or three seperate personages in the Godhead. Just a question for the guy who hates TD because he doesn't believe in the trinity. Who was the Rock in the Wilderness? Who was the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night? Who is the Lily of the Valley? Who was Melchisidec? Who was the fourth man in the fire I could go on. THat's more than three. Don't live in a box. Some people just have to have the Trinity which by the way isn't even a scriptural term.

I love TD and I have let that known in this column. I have one suggestion for him, however. I would like to see him distance himself from a couple of the evangelistic money grabbers and I think God would just bless his ministry to the next level. I truly believe this. Bishop Jakes, please pray about this and I think you will agree with me on this.
