I don't see enough mention of him on here to describe him as a "hated" topic.

I'd bet that if you asked, about half the RIA reviewers would guess that Robert Mugabe was the point guard for the Miami Heat.

I didn't know this thug was so widely hated. He's certainly committed some serious human rights abuses, but that hardly deviates from the established petty-third-world-dictator norm. Has RIA suddenly been inundated with Zimbabwean nationalists? I suppose if I have to choose to either love or hate Mugabe I'd be closer to the hate end of the spectrum, but I honestly don't spend a lot of time giving a damn about the subject.

No controversy here- but I can't think of anyone but Zanu-PF supporters liking Mugabe. Like Stalin, he stalks his enemies and he endorses rape, bribery and other immoral things. He is definitely one to hate for his crimes, but he hasn't made a lasting impact on the world.
