It was pretty interesting blend of sci-fi and western, for a show, I think that the show, was cancelled, because Fox, literally had no idea of what to do with the show.

Firefly was a great show that died due to the seduction of easy money from cheap reality television programming along with many quality shows about the same time. The cast had wonderful chemistry, and while the wild west anti-establishment story lines were not new or unique they were well done and enjoyable.

Firefly has got to be 'the' greatest of all sci fi tv series. Why it was cancelled has got to be one of the biggest blunders of all times.
