One day I heard a funny noise coming from the other room, it was like: SNAP mwroooorrr, SNAP mwrooooooooorrrrrrr.. So I went to see what was up with my cat. She had eaten a rubber band and it was half out of her butthole. As she tried to get it out, it was slipping from her mouth and snapping her in the anus lolPoor kitty. I couldn't leave her to that. So I got a towel, wrapped her up and slowly pulled it out. I wish cats knew when you were helping them sometimes. They sure know how to make you feel rejected lol. If she had a gun and thumbs she would have shot me dead lol.I love kitties.

Two words: Toxoplasma gondii. This is a parasite transmitted to humans from cats. It is not lethal but can affect behavior, Causing men to be more "frumpy" and women to be more "promiscuous."30% of Americans have this parasite. Does any one else find this as awesome as I do? That said, I am allergic to cats, but I love 'em! I wouldn't mind a hairless cat, but I have too many animals right now.They are independant, mysterious and intelligent animals.Also, kittens are wicked cute.

I'm a cat lover. They are so cuddly and clean yet independent and serious. You can still leave on vacation, unlike a dog and you don't need to pick up that stuff in the yard ! lol

Cats make wonderful pets, although just like with every other animal, the pros and cons can be weighed.
Pros: Their personalities are incredibly amusing, and differ vastly from each other as well as from other species. If you want a pet with a complex personality, I recommend getting a cat.
Cons: Their necessities can get expensive, so if you've never owned a cat and are planning on getting one, be prepared for extra expenditures! If the cat is an unneutered indoor male, it's quite possible that it will spray your home, leaving a horrible scent that is impossible to rid of. If not declawed, can scratch not only your furniture but you as well. Although I'm strongly against declawing, as it's equivalent to humans having their fingers cut off. Can we say...OUCH?!

I happen to be rating my own cat here (oscar), and he's kinda awesome and dog-like, so that's not really the best sample of the overall cat population, but unlike what a lot of people think, cats can be really friendly and playful also. They also win major points because you can leave them alone over the weekend on vacation and they don't require daycare if you work crazy hours like dogs do. Mine does not, however, fetch a frisbee. boo.
