09/12/2007 | Even though it's just the inverse of multiplication, division, specifically long division always seemed so much harder than multiplication. I remember hating homework assignments that just consisted of about 30 long division problems. Now, on the rare occasion that I actually do division by hand instead of picking up a calculator, I can't see what was so hard about it.
