Zoolander 5

So funny!!! Stiller and Owen Wilson are incredibly funny. I wouldn't give the movie a chance because I heard it was about male modeling, but after i stumbled into it, I just couldn't stop watching it. "Anyone can die in a freak gasoline fight accident."

Zoolander 4

“The Blues Brothers” was one of the most hilarious movies I have ever seen but on the whole skits (whether SNL in origin or of some “generic” type) expanded to a full-length feature usually turns out to be well, not such a great idea. “Zoolander” didn’t even come close to “Blues Brothers” quality but it surpassed offerings like “The Coneheads” with ease. I rented the DVD with very low expectations (mainly because I had a card for a free rental) and was pleasantly surprised. Ben Stiller’s ditzy male model with his all in one collection of cool looks was too funny and his performance was evidence to me that this still developing comedian has true potential. The humor sometimes ran to the dark side - the gasoline fight being the most obvious and hilarious example. I even found myself laughing at Will Ferrell as the evil and very strange fashion designer Mugatu – a character that was almost too broad to be anything but silly. You may have to be in just the right wacky mood for it but I would say “Zoolander” is a fairly decent comedy rental prospect.

Zoolander 3

I am glad I did not waste money seeing this in a theater I rented it for 99cents at Hollywood video. It is so-so. It sure does not stand out. There are a couple of scenes that are a bit humerous. Ben Stiller is okay as the dimwit model. but I doubt if I would rent it again. The only reason I am giving this a three is it has a pretty good soundtrack.

Zoolander 4

I walked in the theater expecting this movie to suck horribly. After the completley un entertaining crap film The Cable Guy also directed by Stiller, I had little hope for this picture based off a skit that appeared on The VH1 Fashion Awards. To my surprise, I laughed my ass off. I had such a good time watching ths film Iwas astonished. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are absolutly brilliant as the two nimbskulled fashion model heros of the picture. The rest of the huge ensemble cast, which is filled with more cameos than an episode of South Park, is equally great. At one part of the film an angry protester throws an egg at Will Ferril's character. If you watch the egg cracks his pet poodle right in the face. The only reaction from the dog is a stunned lok. I almost fell over.A very well recieved penis joke that Ben must have gotten from the set of Something About Mary is histarical. The orgy scene, the unveiling of blue steel, the gasoline fight, I could go on and on about how funny this movie is. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Very funny stuff. Much better than Meet the Parents
