Not as funny as it could have been--Vince Vaughn as the straight guy in a comedy is a bad sign. Ben Stiller as the whacked-out guy is a worse sign.

Ben Stiller plays his often used angry idiot so his character is some what predictable. The movie has some funny moments but it's not going to be winning any awards

i thought this movie was funny and some parts stupidly hilarious.plus out of nowhere chuck norris comes out. -F*****G Chuch Norris- Ben Stiller

This was OK enough that I laughed, but it wasn't laugh out loud. The humor in it was mediocre and I was always predicting what was going to happen. The main problem was that Vince Vaughn's character was WAAAY to serious. He was so boring that at some points I almost spat at the TV. Had his character been a goofy one with funny lines, this movie would be a heck of a lot more funnier.

This movie is a part of my own movie collection, enjoyable over and over again. It's shameless and unappologetic, dumb humour reigns supreme, and yet it all comes together to create a really entertaining movie. Vince actually plays the good guy in this one, a character we usually don't see him playing, which I think mixes things up a little since Ben's character has been seen before. If you are just in the mood to shut your brain off and laugh, this is the film to see. F'n A, Cotton, F N Aaaaaaaa...

I thought this movie was going to be stupid & annoying, but I really liked it, it was very funny! Vince Vaughn was the best part of the movie, some really hysterical one-liners...

i actually found this movie quite funny. i'm trying not to feel guilty about it. sure, once again we have Ben Stiller playing the same role as he always does: the napoleonesque manic, but for me, this time it actually works. i found his parody of a self-loving gym owner, White Goodman, hysterical and quotable in terms of humorous lines. Vince Vaughn walks through the film(something he seems to have made a small niche out of doing), but unlike some other roles the act is quite endearing in this. the rest of the cast offer hyserical support. now, did i seek Dodgeball out. actually last summer i saw previews and thought it looked dumb. but they were playing the movie on the return flight i was on from San Francisco. I had a book i wanted to read, but thanks to a couple of screaming children, i was persuaded to rent the headphones and watch the film. i wouldn't have paid $10 bucks for it in the theatre, but when i need a cheap laugh i'll consider this film. Dodge, Duck, Dive, Dip and....Dodge.

Okay irish, I have to admit I'm with you on 99.9% of it. But, for some reason; blame it on the phases of the moon or the fact that I was so elated because the day I watched it happened to be the TGIFriday of a particularly nasty week - but Rip Torn just cracked me up in this. So sick yet, a couple of lines almost put me in the floor. Still, it was over the top and under the IQ deficit to the max.

Still cannot believe I paid money for this garbage.

This is a hilarious movie! Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller are a riot in their roles, as well as the hysterical supporting cast. And when they have those classic hit-in-the-face shots, they're actually FUNNY. This is definitely a great summer movie. Age Range: 13+. It's not necessarily inappropriate (though at times, somewhat, but not often), but some of the humor would be hard for younger preteens to understand. FINAL GRADE: A

I am so upset to see Dodgeball got such a low rating. . .c'mon guys! Give it a chance! Dont let dodgeball live in the shadows of Anchorman! I for one, thought dodgeball was great (and will be even better on DVD). Vince Vaughn managed to pull off the 'nice guy' role pretty well and Stiller's character was as ridiculous as ever! Plus I loved all of the cameos, and lets not forget the water skiing squirrel (also seen in Anchorman). And for the record, if ESPN 8 'THE OCHO' were real, I probably would not mind watching that sports center!
