Great show. The WB has to keep it on the air for years to come. The acting is great and the story is very interesting. Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, and other cast members do an excellent job.

This show is proof that mongoloids need entertainment too. So they're pretty. Who gives a hot, steaming crap? The cast's wooden acting seem like they've been touched by the thorazine fairy. They need to take notes from *real* actors, such as the Sam Watersons and Cameron Manheims (sp?) of the TV world, and not the Matthew Perrys and David Schwimmers.

Focuses more on eyecandy than plot and character.

Lots of potential, needs better execution. A little acting might help -- the performers are pretty as all get-out, but that ain't enough ...

Very disappointing. Too dark, violent, and misleading to the younger audience it attracts. This was a comic strip.. hello?

I like the concept behind this show, but I just find it unwatchable and hard to get into.

one of few current programs i try to watch weekly. always been a superman fan and this is a interresting way to look at the story. pretty good cast including fellow canadian(kristen kreuek) however in my opinion "lex" makes this show. hey you can only do so much with clark's character but with lex the sky's the limit. i can't help but feel the whole prequel used to be best friends thing once reminds me of the star wars prequels.

Its a good show but doesnt follow the books. its more of a teen drama much like dawsons creek meets X-files in the middle of supermans smallville years. its fun to watch clark discover his powers in the mist of his puberty. it brings out some funny moments.

This is the best show ever, and whoever dissigres is a complet and totl idet. The plots are grate and hold peoples interist. And the specal effects are sssssooooo much beter then in the moves.

Absolutely love this! The theme music is fantastic (shame aboout the music for the credits though) and its an interesting theory to have Lex Luthor as Clarks best friend considering the TV show about his adult life with Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher seemed to show that Clark and Lex don't know eachother. Sometimes the storylines can be a bit too mushy, but some of them are really enjoyable to watch. Another great American import for us Brits to watch.

I have 3 suggestions for this show. 1. Get rid of the terriable theme song 2. Get rid of the villian of the week. 3. I don't want to see Lex Luthor as Clark's best friend. It ruins it for me.

What was Superan's life back when he was a teenager you may ask? Wht would you...who really wants to know anyway? Smallville covers his teen days in this at-times good, and at-times horrible drama. First of all, the show has too much of a romantic storyline.
