Many Films rated PG in the 70's(Dirty Mary Crazy Larry & Lifeguard, for example)would NEVER get a PG today.

This is becoming more and more obsolete. Pretty much all major blackbusters are PG-13. It also seems like people can't rate movies PG. Classic, even you as a big Pokemon fan, have to admit the first movie should have been PG.

Most of my favorite films are either G or PG. There are many PG classics like many of the Star Trek films, the Star Wars films, Field of Dreams, Shrek 2, Ghostbusters, and many more. PG-rated films are typically more creative than PG-13 and R-rated films. I only wish the language rules were stricter on PG films.

There are more PG movies out there that are more like more PG-13 than PG. The reason why PG-13 was invented in the first place.
