Other than 9th and Irving, I consider this sort of the suburbs. Tack on that it's almost always cold and foggy, and this is a neighborhood that I don't spend much time in. 9th and Irving is cool though.

It’s a typical residential area. It is nice to raise a kid because it’s quiet and safe. You also have the Golden Gate Park close to go and have a nice walk.
In the other hand the weather is bad, foggy most of the time. Also there is not too much going on there. To find some action you have to go to 9 th ave and Irving where you have some sport bars and restaurants. Or you can also go to 19th ave and Judah st, there are also some good bars.
In general this is a quiet and foggy area!!

Another "conservative" area of the city. Suburbs within the urb. Probably the best place in the city to raise a family, next to the Richmond. Some great Asian restaraunts. Some of the better schools. Parking. Thing is, I don't mind the fog.

You are in BFE when compared to everything that makes the City so spectacular and the weather sucks!
