I have flown US Airways a few times. My most memorable experience is when I was 11, flying with my 14 year old brother to Florida to visit my grandparents. The food was great (I am not kidding, great, I am a sucker for airline food for some demented reason..I also enjoy the occasional hospital cafeteria). The flight attendants were so kind and helpful. Ample room, clean and comfortable. Even when we had to switch planes, the ground crew was equally helpful and kind..they even had this little cart to bring us to our next gate. Of course, my totally cool 14 year old brother did not need to be seen on any silly cart..so we had to run. Otherwise, a great trip made easy by considerate and competent airline.

Good leg-room in coach. Very important for a gangly guy like me. Unfortunately, the flight I was just on had two bathrooms not working, leaving only one for all of us. Not good.

I have flown US Airways a couple of times recently and, despite the bad pub ("US Scare"), I had a pretty good experience. Since I bought my tix through Priceline, I can't speak to the quality of the ticket reps. But everyone that I dealt with was pleasant and quite helpful. A couple of the legs of my flights were delayed (due to weather and not them) and the pilots, flight attendants, and gate agents kept everyone up to speed. The food was decent and I actually had a couple of choices. And, each of the terminals at the airports were recently renovated providing plenty of fast food options and comfortable seating.

Flight left early causing us to incur almost $1000.00 for rescheduled last minute flights. After contacting several different departments at several different times,(including their Customer Complaint Department - totally useless in my opinion) US Airways is refusing to accept any responsibility and refuses to reimburse us for the extra expense.

They have decent weekend specials but they always only leave on Saturday morning which sucks because they also have to be returning by either Sunday evening or Monday morning. Other than that I have a hard time distinguishing them from any of their competitors, they have very little positive name recognition in my mind.

US Air always gets me where I'm going on time, but they don't seem to make any effort at making their patrons comfortable. For instance, this past weekend they made me check our carseat for our child instead of letting us carry it on. The flight was empty and the child would have been more comfortable, which would have made us more comfortable. Most other Airlines I have traveled on have been more considerate.

Mediocre at best. I am so tired of hearing about their "new" registration system and its cause for frequent flight delays.

I am a top tier frequent flyer on US Airways and I stoped flying withthem after several bad experiences. I got tired of hearing the excuses of the new reservations system. The final one was when my flight was cancelled over 12 hours before my flight and I was never notified. I wasted a whole day in airports. Despite complaints, their customer service really has provided me nothing.
