The H.Upmann Monarch Tube is an excellent choice for a beginner. They're in bloom in the tube and have a very mild taste. Some H.Upmann's can be a little harsh, but this one is worth the extra few dollars.

I've only smoked a few cigars in my life, so I'm no subject matter expert.  But the Upmann cigar that I recently enjoyed in Cabo was fabulous.  No sediment, a delicious taste, and a nice clean burn right down to the label.  I dipped mine in a little rum before lighting, and it made it taste even better.  I was told that I stunk like a cigar for the rest of the night, but that's a small price to pay.

A pretty decent cigar, although pricing them so you have to take out a second mortgage to buy one is a little much.

An overall good smoke. I enjoy the medium body, smooth, and subtle start, however watch out for the last 1/3 of the cigar. they tend to get a little harsh.

Quality cigars in all aspects. The overall rating should be higher, but apparently nobody told Bert you shouldn't inhale cigars like ciagarettes.

I have been smoking them for over twenty years and find the quailty and craftmenship to be very good, I just like them I guess. they draw easy.

The best cigar I have ever smoked was definitely an H. Upmann that was made in Cuba. It had a great full flavor that tasted better than an ice cream sundae. I've only had one. I would pay mucho dinero for more. Of course, it would have to be legal.

These cigars taste like crap. They are harsh when you inhale. They also leave a nasty aftertaste in your mouth. I wouldn't suggest anyone try this cigar.

This is a generic cigar at a heavy price. It is lighter than most cigars it is classed with which can be a good thing if that's what you are looking for, but its not for me. It does leave a decent tast in your palate though on the finish.
