i had reds one night when i was shitfaced drunk. don't ask me why. i smoked about 4 and thought i was gonna puke(but that was after like 5 marlboro smooths). the next morning i threw up and swore i tasted Reds, so i was disgusted by even the smell of smoke for like 2 days, but then i started back again, just like normal.

Reds are the cigarette I fall back on when they don't have the Camels I want. They are certainly not a bad cigarette, they have a hefty kick and a strong, rich smoky flavor and have a strong (yet not necessarily bad) aftertaste. Also considering they are the cheapest non-bargain brand cigarette out there, they are a staple in my smoking diet.

Oh how I miss reds in a box.  Makes me considering going back to the states just so I can smoke them.  Best cancer stick ever!

Best cigarettes ever. Started with reds, and I always buy reds. Everyone says mediums are better than reds, but I disagree and these are really the only cigarettes that give me a buzz. I'm starting to buy them in 100's size.

The only reason most people smoke Marlboro is due to it's heritage in American culture. However, there are better cigarettes out there. They are not terrible cigarettes though; they don't taste too bad, but they burn about 25% faster compared to RJ Reynolds cigarettes (Camel, Winston, Pall Mall etc).

  The only thing I can say bad is that they do burn a little fast and could use a lot more nicotine.  A great smoke to take into your lungs a just let it sit.  The deeper the inhale the better on these, nothing too harsh and  real easy to get used to.  They satisfy both the novice and the experienced.  These are also great for the hard core chainers like me.  I can easily do three ppd without trying.

I like em cause the taste is awesome, I get a strong buzz from them, almost too much sometimes.starting off i got nauseous feeling, but over all my fav.

i dont get these, these are really strong and you can get a nice buzz from a big big draw but they taste like crap and they burn really quickly and cost a bit more than others

onother then the logical fact maruius has stated isnt the problem. this is for those people who are already hooked on tobacco so marius this just isnt the debate for you. I know im 19 and every tobacco product in this entire tobacco topic ive tried. but along the lines of marlboro products ive tried em all. and now im on 27's why cause it doesnt make you caugh up a lung after two months its smooth and not a breaker on your bank. reds are going up in price only becuase of the great demand. and as for trying to fight the tobacco industry hahaha your way to late and its grown up a little to much. to fight the tobacco co's your going to need a bank as big if not bigger then bill gates

Used to be a Marlboro Lights smoker. Bought a pack of reds cause it was the only pack they had left.. And WOW! it was so strong I was going crazy.  But I bought a whole pack.. so no waste.. and I guess it really is addictive. I couldn't go back to Lights EVER again!  But then a friend introduced me to Blend27's and from then on and forever a 27's man.

ahh good ol reds. i smoked these for 10 years but im starting to get a little sick of em. love the taste but getting too strong for my tar filled lungs. highly recommended for newer smokers though :)

They are okay. If you know me you know i like Marlboro Lights but Marlboro Reds have pretty much no flavor. Im not saying they are strong but if you are desperate for a cigg these are the way.

These cigarettes have a somewhat harsh taste to them. They are cheap though, and provide a strong buzz.

The standard of cigarettes. Nothing special aside from the aftertaste which is far better than average. Burns quickly, decent buzz, not too expensive. Better than camel filters, not as good as camel wides.

Straightforward, relatively dry tobacco taste without complication or surprises despite all the extra ingredients.  Decent hit, not overwhelming.  Fairly smooth, but an off aftertaste.  Burns fast like most PM products.  For the same price (outside of cartons) the Marlboro Blend 27 is better.  Chesterfields are also straightforward but are stronger and richer; they are much harder to find however.   A competent middle of the road cigarette.

in my opinion the only other brands that come close to being as good as marlboro.or a step beyond are Chesterfield and Rothmans...

THese are a great cig when you want a full flavored taste and a nice buzz, but my first choice non menthol will always be camel filters.

I smoked Marlboro Reds for about a year, before switching to Newport's, every so often if I want a non-menthol I will still smoke the reds, but I can't take them for long because the taste is just so bad, better than some non-menthol's but still bad. There are just to many things that are wrong with Marlboro's IMO, number one they burn faster than any other brand that I know of, it takes me 2-3 minutes longer to smoke a Newport than it does a red. Also by the last three hits or so there is this horrible taste that it gets, no other cigarette that I have ever had tastes that bad or gets a weird taste towards the end. The only positive thing about Reds is that you do get a longer exhale than most smokes, but Newport is pretty close and it also has a thicker exhale than a red. Plus people say that Newports are worse for your longs than others including reds, well from my experience my breathing sucks when I smoke Reds, but Newports go down like water, and my breathing hardly ever bugs me. So over all I gave it a 2 star.

  For European smokers:Marlboro is a"nothink special" casual smoke.  OK. 4/5

For USA smokers: The American version of Marlboro is just rubish,i don't know why you make it top selling brand in your country!  Try Camel(No1 cigarette for me),Lucky strice or Dunhill. 2/5

The tobacco flavor is very good and for most people I know if you could pick one brand of cigarette that comes to mind when cigarettes are mentioned it would be marlboro.  The tobacco is toasty and medium bodied, which is nice for a uber-huge cigarette company.

Low quality and expensive.

Best there is. Easy draw, strong flavor, great aroma, kinda sweet-tasting. The pack's really slick, bold and strong—just like the smoke. Very addictive. It's a man's smoke, really. And if ya say it's a redneck smoke...hell yeah!

Good after blunt cigarette. If you like really strong fresh cigarettes, try Lucky Strike Unfiltered. Personally I'm a Turkish Royal man.

Great tasting and good strength

Marlboro Reds are a very good smoke with a nice nutty woody flaor to them. Good smoke aroma also. No chemical or salty taste to them. I really like the 100s soft pack. They give a good buzz, but are not too strong. It does have a very good pull. There is a reason these cigarettes are so popular. Great quality. I'll take one of these smokes any day.

Marlboro full flavored 100's are my cigarettes. I don't know what people are talking about saying you can taste the chemicals, I think it's in their imagination sorry. Most other cigarette brands are disgusting, excluding the occasional Newport and emphasis on occasional.

my  choice of cigarettes. its hard to give a positive opinion about something as unhealthy as cigarettes though. i smoke and have for too many years. i will probably never quit except when i die but i do wish ihad never started.

They burn way too fast for my money, I'd much rather go with a pack of Perique Natural American Spirits (black box) to get almost the same taste with better quality tobacco, no additives, and a much longer burn. Naturals beat out Marlboros any day of the week for me and are a better bang for your buck.

you can taste the chemicals. i mean it doesnt give you that "pure tobacco" taste that you get from other brands. has a good nicotine buss to it. im not sure why these are so popular, i think the packaging says: "classic, pure, classy." or something to that effect. fine if you bum them off someone, but i would only buy them if i felt like being random. they also burn pretty quick too which is annoying.

Two words--pure crap. They may have a nice draw and a strong buzz, but they taste like chemicals and burn way too quickly. I'll never smoke another Marlboro.

I smoke the Greek Marlboro(it's better than the rest Europe"s Marlboro) i love it most times because the taste is not always the same....does anyone know if marlboro in flip-top box,is the same with marlboro soft pack(i prefer soft)?

You always know a red smoker.. deep inhales, slow exhales that last a fuggin minute and a half. Best smoke out there.

Definitely not a starter cigarette. These things are strong, and don't taste very good, but the draw is excellent and the buzz is powerful.

If you don't care for the taste, I'd recommend Marlboro Blend 27s or Camel Turkish Royals.

Personally speaking, I can't understand how these are the world's bestsellling cigarette brand. They're not awful, there are worse out there, but I just find them rough and "dirty" to smoke. Did you know that Marlboros burn down faster than any other cigarette? This is rather annoying...

My cigarette.They are really strong and are great to smoke.If you smoke them to fast or too many, you'll suffer. Smoke 'em too fast, you'll get so light-headed, and smoke to many, your throat will burn. Which is why you only smoke 5 or 6 a day.

Marlboro Reds are the best. They go down real smooth. I was hooked on Newports for a while but found out menthol is a lot worse for you. It actually cuts up your lungs. I'm used to Reds now and cant smoke anything else.

Marlboro reds are me. Light up a red and you're in heaven. After a few inhales they go to your brain. I'm almost senseless. These are powerfull cigs and blow you away. The smoke is rich and I blow out a lot of smoke. The pack id truly awesome and cost is OK. Sometimes I tremble whe I see a pack. Inhale and hard as you can, the smoke goes to the right place. Marlboro reds are for serious smokers, not light smokers. Watch them burning, cool.

first of all... those of you that have said its WAY TOO STRONG or SALTY probably haven't even tried them. the pull is one of the best ive encountered and taking even the smallest of inhale produces a great amount of smoke. this is very satisfying at parties and such. as for taste it tastes just like you would expect: down to earth everyday smoke kind of taste. and there is absolutely nothign wrong with that. if you only smoke lights then thats the first problem since youre missing out. reds aren't really hardcore theyre just a great smoke. now actually try them and review again

I think Marlboro Reds are Life. I love Marlboro Reds with a deep passion. I started off on Marlboro Menthol Lights, then Kools, then switched to regular tobacco, camels. I was smoking Camel Hard pack when my cousin who smokes Reds was like wtf are you doing try one of these. I had tried one earlier when I had just started smoking and they were really harsh especially since I was used to menthol. But Reds>Camelsand all other cigarettes. Camels do burn slower but who cares if they burn slower if they're not half as good. I'd rather smoke a really good cigarette 2-3 drags less then a decent one for a couple more. Reds have an amazing rich full flavor. Unlike Camels which have almost no flavor IMO they seem to taste like cardboard. No other cigarette hits your lungs like Reds. You just feel it, it gives you that punch that I don't get from any other cigarette. Reds will make your lighted headed as fuck at first. No other cigarette did this for me but reds. Even now if I smoke one very quickly I feel a nice buzz. I will never smoke any other cigarette than Marlboro Reds. They are delicious, have tons of flavor, drag extremely well, and give you a feeling that no other cigarette can. They're hard but smoothe. And are flat out amazing.
