1) dale jr. is not his father, he doesn't race like he did and shoulden't be compared to him 2) dale jr. is a good race car driver who, with a little time, could be great 3) dale jr. and jeff gordon are the hottest commotities out there in racing now, and if anyone on these message boards could be exposed to half of their success they would be very, very happy...quit whining!

If being a loser is being top 3 in points most of the season, then I guess you're right! But what does that make his competitors? To be in only his fourth season, he is doing pretty damn well. He hasn't finished outside the top 16 in points, and has been in the top 3 most of this season. He will be a champion soon, and I'd say this year is as good as any. He has been very impressive. I dont know why some of you cant see the talent he possesses...or maybe you're just jealous? Your favorite drivers perhaps aren't doing as well? I dont know the reason, but I do know this. Dale Jr is awesome, and will only improve as time goes on. Look out!

I respect most peoples opinions but telling jr to die like his dad is just wrong! Jr might not be your cup of tea but thats no reason to wish for him to die! Anyway in my opinion I think he is a talented driver (who doesn't cheat or wreak people to win) who is showing lots of promise right now!

Wow some of you here just dont know how to recognize real talent! He is an awesome race car driver and until you get in a car and beat him you have no room to talk. I respect him as a driver and as a person. And i think that he's going to win a lot of championships to come. Just wait.

Dale Jr. has had very hard shoes to fill and by his own rights is an great racecar driver and as the times have changed Nascar, Jr. still wins races honestly and only by hard work! DEI is the greatest of all teams. and Jr. has never let all the pressure show that noone else could of even begin to understand the greatness of his and DEI comitment to the sport--I wish them lots of sunny daaays and many wins-- oh and ty for helpin Kerry! Let's face it. During the '01 season, Jr. could've moped around, cried, and exploited his father's death but did he do that? Heck no. This guy pressed on and finished 8th in the points with two victories. Sure he mentioned his dad but he didn't mourn publicly about it. He already has 7 career victories and has been in WC for 4 years. Give this guy a couple of more years and he can be just as intimidating!
