Very brilliant young women who paid the price for speaking their minds. Unfortunately, in their genre of music, it can cost them to express liberal opinions - unless you're established like Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson. They seem to get more play on rock stations now than country stations, which says something about the climate of intolerance post 9/11. In some ways, the terrorists have won.
