World domination. Millions of devoted minions. THE original Fab Five. Duran Duran in the mid-eighties were simply gods. They could do no wrong in the public's eye...until they broke up into interesting side-groups and ultimately failed to reform into the Fab Five. A lighter, sleeker Duran Duran (version 2.0) continued to offer innovative music for another decade. Duran Duran were unpopular and edgy and alternative! A totally complete guily pleasure. I was a subversive fan, often times turning complete innocents into admirers. Now, Duran Duran (a re-formed version 1.0) are offering new music for another decade. Not content to ride their laurels, Duran Duran continue to offer original and evocaative music. Don't know about you, but I think *that* is worthy of being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

A Great Band who is still around to this today, get them to the rock hall

80's legends, new wave heros, MTV Icons, they should be in the Rock Hall sooner then later. Plus they are back together.

Bad pop for googly-eyed teen girls. Or eighties leather bars.

i highly doubt it despite being an adequate singles band in the early 80s and sparingly afterwards. more a face band in my opinion than serious rockers.
