A nice, sentimental episode. Some fine acting from Carmen mathews and Robert Emhardt (both frequently turned up on Alfred Hitchcock Presents), but it's hard to understand alot of Dean Jagger's line, he seems to whisper frequently, which is particulary hard to hear when the radio is blaring. But still, a good episode.

The concept was better than the delivery but it was a pretty good episode nonetheless.

Another story in the often used theme of the second chance, and one of the better and more poignant examples.
