Slash.. , exelent guitar player, but not the best. His influences are very very good. He's a guitar player that plays with the heart and his head. He's not Jimmy page or Angus young or Jimmy Hendrix.. He's SLASH.. and he is unic in the world..hes not a gibson les paul only. And In my opinion. He is ones of the best guitarrist ever, theres a lot of guitarrist cool to. (jimmy page, Angus , david gilmour..)

Slash is one of the greatest guitarists from the eighties. He can solo for hours it seems, and can play some great rock riffs as well. He does truly belong on this list.

Slash is just a flat out great guitar player. He didn't fall into the flash players or speed demons of the 80's. Slash did what all the greats did, Strip it down, crank it up and throw in some attitude

When everybody else in the late 80's were being wankers by doing the double tap and whammy bar thing (ala EVH), Slash stuck to his guns (no pun intended)and did his own thing - playing bluesy hard driving riffs. I'll give him 3 stars for that.

Slash is definetly a great guitarist, but imo, he's overrated. Slash's solos really aren't THAT impressive, other than Sweet Child O' Mine and November Rain. I really don't get why so many people like him so much.
