Beers are a lot like art, just because lots of other people dis/like something doesn't mean you will feel the same way.  This is by far my favorite beer out there, on a hot day with a lime there just isn't anything better.  I prefer a less complex beer and I feel this one has a better flavor than others (such as Miller and Bud), but like I said me liking this is absolutely no indication of someone else liking this beer.

I'm not sure what the big deal is. Good marketing? I only like it with a lime.

A favorite, especially when the weather gets warm. Corona = vacation time & kicking back.

This beer defines the word skunky. I will only ever drink it with lime and on a hot summer day or cinco de mayo, thats it. Has a strange earthy smell and flavor that i've never loved, but is good on really hot days and with lime only. Thats my story.

It 's drinkable and if I don't have to pay for it, I'll sure as hell drink it. But for the average sale price, you can get a much better beer. This beer just doesn't have anything special about it. It's just another flat, stale, and overly priced macro-import in my opinion.

If there is no Bud Light on hand or Amber Bock and all that's left is Corona or Coors Light, I'm going for the Corona.  I don't really like it but the heat from the Mexican food and the extra lime make it tolerable.

This is Mexican pisswater! Seriously, I don't understand why people like this stuff. The only thing good is the cool looking bottles but, why is this crap the same price or more than the top shelf beers?

Corona was created for poor workers. The painted bottles are for refilling, like all cheap beers. Vacationing students saw the workers drinking it and thought the lime was like tequilla, well it was because it tastes so bad. The big price of Corona is a belly laughing joke by the people who brew beer and the ignorant people who drink it.

this is andys favourite beer and funnily enough its also the favoured beer amongst homos..... so basically what i'm saying is that andy is a homo, last night he got rwally drunk and tried it on with me, obviously i refused him but i then saw him go for livermore and when he refused him andy went for christina. she didn't refuse him but when she saw his small pen.is she threw him out of her room, i know as i was hiding in her wardrobe at the time....

Nasty skunky taste. I can't bare to drink it. It's always on sale at my supermarket though. Damn good marketing campaign too. Even with the lime it still tastes like crap.

One of the best alcoholic sparkling waters out there.

Pretty mediocre, and at over $40 per case (that's up here in Canada, where alcohol is outrageously expensive) it's just not worth it. This is a very low quality beer, and if you go to Mexico, you'll notice only the Gringos drink it. I guess it's just trendy, and people think they look 'cool' with one in thier hand, like they actually appreciate good beer or something. As for the lime or lemon, I'd reccomend it. Helps to kill the skunky steamed corn taste. ugh.

Good beer to have when you don't really feel like having a beer. By no means the best Mexican beer out there, though.

if you have to put something in your beer to either cover the flavor or give it flavor, it ain't worth drinkin!!!

I'm partial to Corona - I've had Mexicans tell me its crap, I hear the water they use has runoff from mule piss and I loathe the way its marketed but it still hits the spot and its usually one of only 4 choices when I'm too lazy to go beyond the nearest convenience store

A great summertime beer. Great with a lime wedge, great without. A very smooth, very tasty light beer.

Carta Blanca, Dos Equus and Bohemia are all better Mexican beers, but Corona has the best marketing. Classic beer choice for fat 40 year old former Texans like me.

not a good beer. has the aura of a decent beer b/c people go through such lengths to add lime and salt to Corona. here's a test: take a budweiser and put lime and salt as additions, and i'll bet you it tastes the exact same. have a corona w/o the garnish and what you have is a plain thin beer that exists on tricks and gimmicks

You really can't beat a Corona Extra with a lime and salt when you're in the mood for that sort of thing.

O.K.,but if you like Mexican Beer,SOL,Tecate and Bohemia are much better,and cost the same or less.

At first I found it tasteless, but I grew to I like it. I was always a fan of cheap domestic beers (like Canadian), but I like Corona a lot, too.

I like this beer alot but it definetly needs a lime.

Wait till the hottest day of the year and drink this with a lime. If you go to cancun drink nothing but this. Hot weather beer.

Corona is quite mediocre. If I have to choose between drinking this beer and water, I choose water. At least I won't get a headache after one glass of water.

Any beer that needs a lime is pathetic. A poor, weak beer.

Corona is the trademark of all beers --It is the number one selling beer in the world. Just take a look at the heritage it originates from -- you wont find such finesse coming from domestic beers. -FS

If you must have a light beer, go with Corona.

Only drinkable ICE cold. The reason for the lime started in mexico, it is used to keep the flies out of the drink, in my opinion, the flies can have it.

My favorite in light beer..... Goes down smooth, taste good....Even more great with a lime, this beer doesn't have alot of carbs is probably why I like it so much, alot of your darker beers don't have as many carbs either...Maybe that explains that one.

As a vehicle maintenance military guy, we always considered this a 'yuppy, officer beer' because we would always see the young officers nursing these babies...no self respecting enlisted man would be caught dead with one.

Generally over-rated, but pretty good with spicy dishes and in warm months and at the beach.

So they bottle piss up and drop some rubbing alcohol in it, and you get those foul-tasting awful swill. But you can have a lime and salt with it to make it yummy! I get ill thinking about this god-awful urine beer!

Corona is awesome. I especially love the Corona Light. It of course is so much better ice cold. It tastes great, goes down smooth, never have aftertaste. And it always gives me a good buzz after about 3...:) Never had a hangover from it. I recommend it to all beer lovers.

I still don't understand how this beer is so popular. It has no flavor, well the flavor it has is like mexican pee. It's probably so popular because Mexico has no potable water so they have to drink this crap. Alot of kids on campus drink Corona and it boggles me. I'd pick anything over that, maybe not Bud, but alot of other crap by my standards.Try one and ask yourself the same thing I did-Why do so many people drink this crap?
