Use heavier bullets but keep the 5.56 Nato round 2

A heavier bullet will not work in this worthless cartridge.  This is another legacy of  Robert McNamara, the "genius" Secretary of Defense under Kennedy and Johnson.  Besides lots of bad judgments, getting us deeper into the Viet Nam War, not knowing his as* from a hole in the ground, and just being plain nasty, I guess I have no complaints about him.

The only way to make the round heavier would be to make it out of something else. Steel is too expensive, depleted uranium - too unethical.

Use heavier bullets but keep the 5.56 Nato round 3

Much has been made of the lack of stopping power, so a heavier bullet than the dinky little 62 grain would be adventageous.
