I had this one done this past Tuesday at the er. With the sedation it wasn't that painful, especially when compared to the experience of actually suffering thru the dislocation. they popped it back in, and the pain has been minimal since, although my advice to anyone going thru this is to keep the range of motion on the arm to a minimum for the first few days, then build on your range of motion as time goes on. Recovery time is usually a few weeks.
