Merrymeeting Bay is perhaps my favorite place in the world. Not much to do, but it sure is pretty. Avoid Lewiston.

One of the last great frontiers in the US. Ideal for coastal cruising, kayaking, skiing, and mountain biking. And don't forget to grab a lobster while you're here. Places to visit are Camden, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Bar Harbor, Boothbay. Absolutely the best places on earth - ideal time to vist: fall and early summer.
