I've locked myself out of the car once & since then , I remember keys

Ok, not so much getting locked out...... that has only happened twice, but i do misplace my keys all the time lol

I dont often forget, but when I do forget where I put them and cant find them I go INSANE! Literally throwing stuff around if I cant find it. I gotta have my car keys!!

Like the cell phone, if I put them down where I normally wouldn't...then I can't find them

I leave my keys in the truck. It is so beat up it is not worth stealing. I don't lock my house.

I've heard once that if you forget an item, like your keys, to picture it exploding once you put it down.  Our minds are so bored with these mundane daily tasks that if we think of the item exploding it will spark the mind and trigger memory.  Try it this works.

I rarely forget my keys, but I live in perpetual fear of forgetting them. I'm sure that helps in a preventative way, but it's sort of irrational to check twice.

I bought a hook so I can hook it on my belt or my bag. This a big issue for me.

For the most part? I carry my keys on my person all the time, but, there have been those rare occasions when I've just outright forgotten them and it's those times when it's literally sucked to me upon arrival to the destination where the keys would be necessary too.

Losing your keys is the most frustrating thing ever! You got like 20 minutes until you have to be at work, it takes 15 to get there and you can't find your keys. You run around like mad in a frustrated even angry state. Tell me this hasn't happened to you?

Keys have that nasty habit of getting lost. But perhaps the problem is not the key itself, but too many of them. We have a dedicated key to everything. And half of them either don't work anymore or are obsolete. But we keep them still. And we get sometimes so distracted that we even forget... wait a minute, where is that darn "z" key on the keyboard :)

I've noticed that it's impossible for my husband to find the keys, whenever I hang them on the keyhook by the door ;)

my friend loses her keys everytime she goes to drive and everytime she finds them in her purse. so she never really loses them but she always thinks she does

I have lost my keys by putting them in my pocket. That's frustrating. Looking for your keys, tear the place up, and they are in your pocket.

Probably the most commonly lost or forgotten item and easily the most frustrating. I have at various times, locked my keys in the car, locked them in my tool box at work, or just plain lost them.
