11/04/2006 | Seagull.I grew up on the coast,and although they aren't the most beautiful of birds,they always look like they're free and having fun.(True,they can be fiercely competitive when they have to-but so can I,although I prefer just to "ride the wind".)

07/03/2005 | Uh, if I were a bird, I'd be a . . . this is probably influenced by the movie I just saw, but I'd probably be a penguin: clumsy, dedicated, willing to go through the worst of things for the one I love . . . I could probably skip the vomiting to feed my baby chick thing, though . . .
