07/28/2005 | Wasted. I use colgate original toothpaste, I like the flavor and if I run out before I get to the store, I use Baking soda! My kids think I am gross to use it, but I think it actually makes my teeth whiter and smoother than toothpaste.EDIT: Randyman, I don't know which is better, but I just like the flavor of colgate, my mom used to get that until aquafresh came out, I never really liked it always felt slimy on my teeth! I think it's a matter of what flavor you're used to, don't think any are really any better than the others.

07/28/2005 | Texasyankee, I do the same thing with baking soda, and it works. We usually use a Crest toothpaste, but at times we do use Colgate as well. Do they really work better? I don't know because I've never really used anything else long enough to notice the differance.
