 | souljunkie (21) 08/15/2005 | Here in south Texas (Houston) they are practically a staple. they are served at all seafood resturants during the season which starts in Feb and ends in July. I love crawfish and make them better than any resturant Ive been to. We crawfish officianados are proud of our own recipes and keep them a very guarded secret! My whole family digs em.

 | Inmyopinion (10) 08/14/2005 | I had always thought that these things looked like mini, bite-size lobsters, I love lobster (who doesn't), but when I had to bite the head off of this thing, and suck the stuff out of it, and it tasted NOTHING at all like lobster, needless to say, I was very dissapointed.

 | kattwoman (25) 08/14/2005 | about 10 years ago i was at the california state fair and my mother and i decided to try something different to eat for lunch. we decided on a choice between crawfish and alligator. we saw quite a few people sitting around with these huge plates of crawfish and we went for that. i loved them and still eat them on occasion when i find them.

 | CastleBee (92) 08/14/2005 | One summer on a family camping trip one of my cousins and I would catch these and race them (and then release them and let them go back to their lives). I started thinking of them as a kind of pet. I'll never be able to think of them as food.

 | Graymalkin (52) 08/14/2005 | Count me in on the crawfish or crayfish too! I love a good spicy crawfish boil. Make sure you get all of the succulent juice from their heads. I use them to in a savory cheesecake and etouffee. I think I am having a craving!
