Decent, but some of the more focused sports sites are much more effective when you're searching for something specific rather than tracking something that already has a lot of media attention

A sports website is just overkill. Let me watch football, let me play football, but don't make me live football. It's a great game, but a lame lifestyle.

ESPN.com is probably the only website that even comes close to RIA for me in terms of procrastination resources.

From a five to a four. . .yes, the content is terrific. . .I just find the quality of sportswriting on Page 2 to be slipping a bit. . .and the site is plastered with far more ads than necessary. Still, great site for news, stats, and updates- but I just have a small issue with the slight decline in the quality of sportswriting.

Nothing is better than ESPN for sports. Now it gives recognition to the NCAA's minor sports like field hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, etc. on ESPNU. A site that listens to both sexes and almost all sports alike.

ESPN covers all sports and not only that, it covers the NFL better than NFL.com does. Same with the other sports.

ESPN.com is intimately entwined with the Magazine frequently running the same stories. Apparently the majority of the writers are incapable of consistently forming complete sentences. Also displays extremely biased reporting and distorts facts or prints sensational allegations as if they are fact (e.g. the recent Maurice Clarret story and related pieces). Also will portray virtually any athlete as a misunderstood victim regardless of how reckless or obnoxious their behavior (e.g. pieces on Clarret, Teddy Dupay, Darryl Russel, Sebastian Janikowski, Barry Bonds, etc). In short, this magazine is a farce. Stick with TSN.
