Location can make or break the sale. I just passed up an exceptionally good deal on eBay 'cause the BMW R65 was 900 miles away and the expense and hassle of going to get it overwhelmed the bargain factor.

I once bought a car from a dealership that was on the opposite end of the city and it was a pain taking it over there for service and warranty for the first year.

Well I suppose there are a few obvious things here, like don't buy a convertible if it's only warm enough to put the top down a couple times a year, or don't buy a low clearance rear wheel drive sports car if you live in a location where you have heavy snow fall for several months a year. But I would hope that most people don't actually have to think about this sort of thing.
