Used to be able to get decent food and servise at Denny's Not so in the last several years. It's main function seems to be a haven for losers... punks and drunks. They're welcome to it.

If you want to order a grand slam breakfast of either overcooked or undercooked eggs, undercooked or burnt bacon or overcooked sausage if you prefer that, pancakes that are rubbery, burnt toast, burnt or luke warm coffee plus mediocre to lousy service all while sitting in a crappy restraunt then be my guest.

Ghastly. The only time I stop at a Denny's is if I am driving cross-country, it is the only restaurant in Cowplop and the next exit is 50 miles.

I have two problems with Denny's. First, it's usually way too crowded to suit me, and second, the food is just okay, but nothing special.

I really used to love Dennys....They do have good breakfasts. But I was highly disappointed the last time that I was there. I ordered the chicken fried steak (which is usually very good) but it tasted like it was freezer burnt and lov a behold I had the thrill of finding a nice long hair in my mouth....Disgusting!!!!! I wont be going back any time soon.

If I were to write a list of all the restaurants I know in categories of how much I liked them, Denny's would fall into the "Last-ditch effort, it's midnight and no one else is open" category. The one I choose to frequent is a little cleaner and a little friendlier, but that's not saying too much, unfortunately. The food isn't that great, but hey, it's midnight, so I've got to give the cook at least some credit, I suppose. You're better off ordering the breakfast items than any of the dinner items, THAT I've learned. The Lumberjack Slam is great--what they lack in quality, they make up in quantity. Even at my hungriest stage, I could barely finish one of those. I give credit to the Denny's I go to--at least the waitresses there are sweet, unlike other Denny's locations I've been to. Nevertheless, I'd rather go to Wendy's for their late-night pickup window for a post-midnight snack.

I find the normality of this restaurant staggering.

If Denny's were my only choice for a meal, I would happily go hungry until something - anything - better turned up.

I don't remember ever enjoying a meal here. It's just not good food, plain and simple.

The only time I like going to Denny's is after a bender at the bars. Since I haven't BEEN on a bar hopping spree in years, I haven't been to Denny's in years. Give me IHOP or give me death.

Denny's is okay if you want a restaurant that is not too expensive. You won't be getting fine dining here. I prefer going there for breakfast for one of their grand slam breakfasts or for lunch if I am in the mood for a sandwich and fries.some of the dishes are not too bad. not great either. okay at best.

Denny's used to be one of my favorite places, but lately, everything is slipping- service, quality of food, and high prices. I like to go for their Mozzerella Sticks (they are the best!) and sometimes Chicken strips, but the food is nothing to really brag about, nor is the service.

True, Denny's has taken a beating lately, but no one can beat them for breakfast or their hot wings.

Denny's is a piece of crap! Awful! Bad food, bad service, and very dirty! Eat here if you want food poisoning!

The only reason I go to Denny's is because it's open 24 hours and I want a bite to eat at 3 am. The service is almost always horrible, and the food isn't so great either. The prices seem to keep rising as well. It used to be a good college student hang out, but now it seems like we can't even afford Denny's. Who wants to pay $6 for bacon and eggs you waited an hour and a half to get and arrive cold?

Not bad, not bad at all, for 2.99. I like the Moon over my hammy the best and the Grand Slam is pretty good too. I I think this one the better late night eats.

Denny's was a racist restaurant? Wow. That really bites. Well, a lot of restaurants WERE racist before. In fact, most of them were. Today, when I go to Denny's, about half of the workers there are African American (as if it matters). The restaurant isn't the best, but the appetizers are fairly yummy..

Denny's is having a lot of trouble staying together. The service is horrrible, and the people that hang out there are very disturbing and sick. The food is sometimes decent, but everything either has eggs or mushrooms on it. Don't go for dinner or lunch, breakfast is the only good meal served here.

Denny's is okay, once in a while, when there's not much else around, or when nothing's open. I usually find the coffee great, but it seems the prices are getting a bit high. Also I'm not too sure if the cleanliness is up to par.

Denny's owns the late night breakfast menu. Who can dispute that the poetically named "Moons Over My Hammy" is not the ultimate late night dish? The role which Denny's plays in servicing the late night, boozed up crowd makes this chain a national treasure in my opinion. On another note, I'm not sure if I buy the whole institutional racism theory about this chain - my guess would be that the whole scandal was caused by a couple of idiot, undereducated, underpaid denny's managers in completely isolated incidents.

This chain's history of discrimination against African-Americans is shameful (not to mention foolish; vacationers and Sunday breakfast eaters come in all sizes, shapes and colors). And it's hard forgetting comedian Rich Hall's comment, "You don't go to Denny's, you just end up there." That said, Denny's will rarely prepare a poor meal within its limited menu, will keep your drink cup filled, get crayons for kids and deliver your food quickly at a reasonable price. You'll never be wowed or dissapointed by a meal at this unique, if socially flawed, restaurant chain.

Cheesy as it is Denny's has fast service cheap prices and relatively good food, especially breakfast foods.

Only go there in desperation! Hate them!

Most of the food are not that good. But, depending on the location, the food can be quite good and the service too.

People should boycott this restaurant because of its history of discrimination against African-Americans.

OK for when that big breakfast urge hits ya.

Denny's is horrible b/c they used to discriminate against blacks. They only serve us b/c they have to.
