Paul Muni is Juarez and Brian Aherne is Maxmilian in the struggle between the two men for Mexico in the 1860's. Bette Davis, Claude Rains and John Garfield also star in the movie. It is excellent all around. Muni IS Juarez and the resemblance is uncanny.
