Another one that's not a politician but has wedged his fat ass into politics. Any time I see his name I can't help but think of Mary McCarthy's comment about Lillian Hellman, "Every word she writes is a lie, including "the" and "and".

Politician?
Victor83 10/21/2008
Perhaps the best representative the American political left has ever had- an overweight liar who doesn't know how to bathe or shave.
Ridgewalker 10/20/2008
Although he's not a politician, his focus is to influence political decisions. He'd fit in nicely in Washington...Hollywood for ugly people...

I think I reviewed him as a tub-o-lard in a previous review. I retract that. He's a stupid tub-o-lard. The most stupid thing about Michael Moore is that he thinks he's actually important.

Michael Moore is or at least was a member of the New Hampshire Legislature. I thought he was just stupid and had no idea of his national reputation. When did he go national? Last time I heard of him he was babbling about raccoons depredating sweet corn in Southern New Hampshire.

Micheal Moore (D) - Hardees.
CanadaSucks 10/20/2008
Doesn't belong on this list due to the fact that he is a filmmaker and not a politician. Although it's still fascinating how the right claims him as a boogeyman whilst Moore trashed Bill Clinton. . .
Spike65 10/20/2008
Not a politician. Makes propaganda films.
jaywilton 12/20/2005
Maybe the best reason to vote Republican.
luridlloyd 12/20/2005
Prior to Fahrenheit 911 Moore was not that polarizing. Roger and Me, and whatever his other documentory was, didn't have conservatives freaking out. The Republican Election Stratigists made him into a Liberal Boogie Man. It worked superbly. How many lessons can Democrats learn from Republican opinion shaping? I hope enough.

This is a politician? A more accurate description would be propagandist.
Wavebacker 12/11/2004
People hate Michael Moore but he should be commended for being very straight foward and demanding answers and explanations to the simplist questions. Moore is refreshing because he's taken to asking the questions the media is too afraid to ask. He's someone many more Americans should like. He's a populist man of the people. The people who should really hate him are the Rich because he calls out big business and those that make money at the expense of the underclass.
Moosekarloff 10/19/2004
He's not a politician and shouldn't be on the list. He's a professional provocateur, and a damned good one, considering the responses some of the droolers have posted here. Moore obviously pushes the right buttons when it comes to these idiots, who have been brainwashed and mystified by the same old tired rightwing bullcrap that's stinking up this nation.

This Fat Bolshevik EvilDoer was caught on film in one of those stupid Al Queda Training Videos where they climb up the monkey bars. While all the terrorists traversed it, Moore's flaccid corpulent carcass fell off the first rung, landed on the ground, and defecated in his pants while rolling in the sand and screaming, KILL BUSH!!!!. His latest idiocy is going to college campuses and handing out condoms and ballcaps to get students to vote for Kerry. He charges $50K a visit. Any college dean who pays that tribute should have their arse canned.

Moore is polarizing even among liberals and other anti-Bush people. While many people are secretly glad someone with chutzpah is finally on their side of the ring, they dislike his bombastic tactics, among other things. Yes, they do wish he'd get a haircut and shave. And take off that damned baseball cap.

This lying bag of poop falls into a wierd category. It's my list and I put him on it even though he's not a politician , per se. He has placed himself, whether you like it or not, scarlet, in the political arena through his efforts to replace the daddy party (whom the terrorists hate) with the mommy party (who will surely lose ground in the war against terror) because their politics are closer to his beloved socialistic views. Why can't the liberal elite ever admit that our enemy (once they clearly identify themselves as our enemy) wish to do us harm and are capable of doing it? These guys (Moore) don't have to fight fair, though. They can string clips together to make things that are not true, appear to be true to the young and the intellectually lazy voter. Moore will never convince a knowledgeable republican to vote for Kerry, but it certainly appears to be a documentary, especially to someone not accustomed to combating propaganda, like high school kids voting for the first time. It's an unfair advantage that Kerry enjoys in his quest for the presidency, and there is no republican equivalent to it. Hollywood propagandists, who charge twelve bucks for their propaganda, are unique to the left with the possible exception of Mel Gibson who produced a religious movie. Pretty polarizing.
louiethe20th 08/06/2004
Mikey polarizing? Nah!Not him!His new movie polarizing? Not a chance! His ignorant books and articles? This guy is so far to the left that Kerry, the biggest liberal in the Senate, will not acknowledge him!
scarletfeather 08/05/2004
Is Michael Moore running for president? Is he a Senator alongside Ted Kennedy(oh my God, I actually said that name!)? Is he the mayor of Flint, Michigan? He shouldn't be included on this list;he's a filmmaker, not a politician. Having said all that, I will concede he is extremely polarizing. Mainly he's upset about how this country how has been trashed by George W. Bush and his cronies. Can't blame him for that.
abichara 07/28/2004
We all know he doesn't hide his opinions. When you go to watch one of his movies or read one of his articles, you know that he stands at the left side of the US political spectrum. I personally find many of his documentaries to be unfairly slanted and even propagandistic, you know you're going to get a direct rebuttal of everything G.W. Bush and the Republicans stand for. Indeed, most of Moore's films and writings tries to hide behind a facade of complete objectivity. This is what makes him so polarizing.
