I admit that Rather's outlook showed through a little. He is not in the same catagory as anyone on Fox News. He had jornalistic credibility. National Gaurd story? I think it was a Rove set up. Rove is diabolical.

I don't think this is a contest.

Probably more obvious now than when this list was created. Not only has he become more blatently bias as he has gotten older, but with the National Guard story he totally threw joarnalistic integrity out the window.

Rather's probably the most bias of the Big Three on the networks and he's departure in March has been a long time coming. I wonder what Terry McAuliffe will do then...

I don't think Dan Rather considers himself objective. He has attended various Democratic functions and fundraisers in the past which were independent from his duties as a reporter. He's notorious for the vitriol he has hurled at Republicans from Richard Nixon to George Bush while giving Democrats like Bill Clinton a pass. Witness Rather's interview of Clinton during his book tour. He's an old style journalist, but I think his editorializing really weakens his effectiveness on the job. Time to put him out to pasture.
