Easter is a time of celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am not all that in to Easter. I have not been to a service for Easter for years. we used to get the kids baskets,we make colored eggs. sometimes we have a ham. but for the most part it is another day here.

Don't you know that the Easter bunny helped Jesus Rolled large chocolate egg, that looked like a rock, that was blocking the cave that he was laid to rest in. The egg disappeared and since then childern hunt for eggs every Easter. Now as you know the Holy land is very hot so every one had to wear hats, big floppy hats that are now called Easter Bonnets. So you see we really have not strayed from what was once part of the greatest story ever told, we just created another Hallmark Day where people have now started to give kids toys and candy, because we all know Jesus loved all the little children and would want them to have toys and sweets to remember that he died on the cross to have all our sins forgiven and then rose from the dead.
